The following weapons were used in the film Virtuosity:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P228
A two-tone SIG-Sauer P228 fitted with a Wilcox Industries UITC IR/laser sight is the main handgun used by LAPD officer Parker Barnes (Denzel Washington) in the movie. The P228 used in this film was one of four identical guns built for the production by Ellis Props & Graphics; one of them was later re-used in the movie Barb Wire.
Glock 19
The main handgun used by SID 6.7 (Russell Crowe) is a Glock 19.
Heckler & Koch USP
SID 6.7 (Russell Crowe) is seen using a Heckler & Koch USP during the film's opening shootout in the virtual Japanese restaurant. It also appears that the USP is the standard-issue to the LETAC security officers in the movie; Parker (Denzel Washington) takes another USP from a guard when he escapes transport and uses it later in the movie.
Along with Heat and the TV show SeaQuest DSV, Virtuosity was one of the earliest Hollywood productions to feature the USP, which was a new handgun on the American firearms market in 1994 (when the movie was filmed).
Beretta 93R
Parker Barnes (Denzel Washington) and John Donovan (Costas Mandylor) are seen using Beretta 93R's with wood grips during the film's opening shootout in the virtual Japanese restaurant.
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is used by Barnes during the flashback when he is seen trying to rescue his wife and daughter. Berettas are also carried by most of the police officers in the film.
Walther PPK/S
Madison Carter (Kelly Lynch) is seen putting a Walther PPK/S in her purse.
Charter Arms Bulldog
Madison Carter (Kelly Lynch) is also seen taking what appears to be a Charter Arms Bulldog from (William Forsythe).
Submachine Guns
Cobray M11/9
SID 6.7 also uses a Cobray M11/9 during the shootout in the virtual Japanese restaurant.
Calico M950
Another weapon SID 6.7 uses during the shootout in the virtual Japanese restaurant is a Calico M950.
Skorpion SA Vz 61
In a flashback, terrorists are seen armed with the Skorpion SA Vz 61 when holding Parker's wife and daughter hostage. Parker is later seen using it.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
Several SWAT officers including the SWAT captain use Heckler & Koch MP5A2's equipped with Surefire dedicated forend weaponlights. Another SWAT officer is seen opening fire on Barnes from a helicopter with the MP5A2.
Walther MPL
SWAT officers are seen opening fire on Barnes with Walther MPL submachine guns.
Mini-Uzi
One of the terrorists Parker takes out in the flashback is seen with a mini-Uzi.
Assault Rifle
M16A2
A terrorist is also seen armed with the M16A2.
Shotguns
Franchi SPAS-12
When Barnes chases SID 6.7 after the club shootout, he asks Madison to pull out his "crowd pleaser" which is a Franchi SPAS-12 shotgun.
