The following guns were used in the film Black Hawk Down
Colt M733
Busch (Richard Tyson) is the first Delta member on screen, and also the first soldier we see carrying a version of the Black Rifle, a Colt Commando M733. All Delta members carry an M733.
M60 Machine Gun
Army Ranger Nelson (Ewen Bremner) carries a belt fed M60 machine gun chambered in 7.62mm NATO.
M249 SAW
Several rangers carry 5.56mm belt fed M249s throughout Black Hawk Down.
M16A2
Eversmann (Josh Hartnett) leads his Rangers in Black Hawk Down armed, like most of them, with an M16A2.
M21
The M21 is an accurized semi-automatic 7.62mm NATO M14 rifle that served as the official Army sniper rifle until 1988 before being replaced by the Remington 700 based bolt-action M24. Despite being officially replaced the M21 was fielded in both gulf wars and continues to be fielded by US Army and special forces around the world today.
Heckler & Koch G3A3
The local militia arm themselves with, among many other weapons, Heckler & Koch G3A3 assault rifles chambered in 7.62mm NATO.
RPG-7
The Russian manufactured RPG-7 features prominently in Black Hawk Down as it is the weapon which brings down a pair of Black Hawks. In one scene, a projectile from an RPG-7 strikes the driver of one of the deuce and a half trucks in McKnight's convoy and fails to detonate, impaling the luckless soldier instead.
AK-47
There are so many AK-47s in Black Hawk Down I doubt any other film has ever had more on screen. It's safe to assume the rifle you see almost every gunman carry and fire is an AK-47. You'll see AK-47s with and without stocks, with and without foregrips, with and without folding stocks and every permutation in between.
AKS-74U
The Somali militia leader carries an AKS-74U which was specifically designed as a compact personal defense weapon for pilots and tank crews. Despite its small size it still fires the powerful 5.45x39mm cartridge.
M203
We see many U.S. Army Rangers with M203 grenade launchers attached to their M16A2 rifles, the most notable of which is Grimes (Ewan McGregor) who assists Delta in taking out a technical that has them pinned down.
1911
We see the 1911 pistol in the hands of both Delta troops and a Somali militiaman. As the two Delta snipers attempt to secure the second crash site they are forced to draw their sidearms, 1911 and Beretta M-9 pistols, as the overwhelming Somali forces close in on them. The second Delta sniper is ultimately killed by multiple shots from a Somali Tokarev T33. The M1911 Pistol was and in some circumstances (the 1911 Is still used by 1 SFOD-D, US Marines Assigned to MEU's or Special Operations Units use a modified M1911) still is the standard side arm of US Special Forces Operatives.
Beretta M-9
The Beretta M-9 pistol is the standard issue sidearm of the US Army. We see several in Black Hawk Down in the hands of Army Rangers, HMMWV crews.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Mike Durant (Ron Eldard), a Black Hawk pilot, is armed with an MP5A3 sub machine gun and uses it to defend himself after he's shot down. The MP5 was a standard side arm among many 160 SOAR pilots.
Browning M2
A Browning M2 .50 BMG machine gun is fielded by both the US Army HMMWVs, the UN APCs, and the Somali militia in Black Hawk Down. The opening shots of the film feature Somali militiamen slaughtering a gathered crowd with the powerful fifty-cal.
GE M134 Minigun
During the slaughter of the crowd, The US Forces hovering in the MH-60 aren't cleared to fire the 6 barreled 7.62x51mm GE M134 minigun mounted on their Black Hawk. GE M134 pylon mounted miniguns are also carried by the AH-6 Little Birds and rain lead in several scenes.
DShKM Machine Gun
A vehicle mounted Russian DShK 38/46 machine gun appears in several scenes of Black Hawk Down.
M72 LAW
An Army Ranger takes out a "technical" with an M72 LAW.
M260 Rocket Launcher
The AH-6 that helps stop Atto's (George Harris) convoy carries a pair of M260 seven-tube 2.75 inch rocket launchers.
M67 Hand Grenade
While loading up for the assault on the Olympic Hotel Sanderson (William Fichtner) picks up M67 fragmentation hand grenades. He is also seen throwing one into a window to take out a Somali who has him and the Deltas and Rangers pinned down.
M7A2 Hand Grenade
An M7A2 CS gas grenade is sitting next to the M67 fragmentation hand grenades Sanderson (William Fichtner) picks up.
