Dragnet is the 1987 film adaptation of the original Jack Webb television series. The film stars Dan Aykroyd as the nephew of the legendary Sgt. Joe Friday of the series and Tom Hanks as his new partner. Harry Morgan reprises his television role of Bill Gannon in the film.
