Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The following weapons were used in the film The Marine 2:
Heckler & Koch HK33
Joe Linwood (Ted DiBiase Jr.) uses a Heckler & Koch HK33 at the beginning of the film, he uses it with a scope. He shoots the Arms Dealer, killing him. He also kills some of his men.
M4A1
Joe Linwood's partner at the beginning of the film uses an M4A1 fitted with a ACOG scope, and a foregrip. He barely fires it at the Arms Dealer.
Galil SAR
This gun is used by the mercenary leader when they enter the hotel grounds, it is fitted with a scope and a silencer. After he is injured Joe Linwood (Ted DiBiase Jr.) takes it and uses it for a good part of the film, After a hand to hand combat, WWE style with two rebels he takes the gun which laid in the floor , but it apparently ran out because in the next scene he appears with another gun.
Beretta 92SB
A Beretta 92Sb is given to Joe Linwood after he proofs to the mercenaries that he can go useful to the team he uses it in the shootout in the hotel grounds when there cover is blown by a traitor in the mercenaries. It is a Beretta 92 SB because of its rounded trigger guard.
Beretta 92FS
Near the end Joe Linwood uses this gun on the Rebel Leader, during there melee fight thye fight for the gun. The rebel leader fires some shot at Joe Linwood, but misses. Eventually the gun is lost during the fight. Some of the Arm Dealers at the beginning use this gun to fire at Joe Linwood and his partner.
Uzi
Some of the rebels can be seen using this weapon. Joe Linwood takes one from one of the rebels after he is captured. When going to rescue the hostages he only gets to fire like three rounds before the gun is kicked out of his hands by one of the rebels, after a short hand to hand combat the rebel grabs the gun but is killed by Church (Michael Rooker) before he can use it.
M16A1
Many of the rebels throughout the film use this gun. Some of the men in the army carry them.
M79 Grenade Launcher
At the beginning of the film when Joe Linwood shoots the Arms dealer one of his men opens up one of the boxes full of weapons and he gets out a M79 Grenade Launcher plus some rounds. He fires some rounds at Joe Linwood and his partner.
M3A1 "Grease Gun"
Some of the Arm Dealers at the beginning fire this gun at Joe Linwood and his partner. Probably they took them out of one of the boxes full of weapons.
MP5K
Some of the mercenaries use this gun fitted with scopes and silencers, most notably the traitor who shoots three mercenaries with this weapon. Some of the rebels uses this gun as well.
MP5K-PDW
Used by some of the mercenaries with the stock folded and with scopes, silencers. Some rebels use this weapon with the stock unfolded.
Ithaca 37
Church (Michael Rooker) takes this gun with him when he goes to help Joe Linwood to rescue the hostages. He uses it to shoot a rebel from behind saving Joe. Joe then takes it when following the Rebel leader who took his wife apart from the other hostages he loses it when entering the cave. The Rebel Leader detonates an explosive causing the entrance to fall. The shotgun ends up under a pile of rocks. The one used in the film is the trench gun variant.
Remington 870
In a continuity error when Joe is running his Ithaca 37 turns briefly into a Remington 870
Unknown
Some of the rebels use unknown Colt Comando or M16 variant throughout the film. After the WWE style hand to hand combat Joe Linwood had, he took the Galil SAR with him but in the next scene he appears with the same unknown Colt Commando Variant the rebels use. It is kicked out of his hands right away. It might be a M4, not sure.
Unknown Revolver
The rebel leader uses an unknown revolver to try to kill hostages, he is persuade not to by the owner of the hotel. He conceals it afterwards and it is not seen again. It looks like an old revolver, smith and wesson probably, or a copy.
