Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005)

Vektor CP1

Used by Robert Downey Jr. as Harry Lockhart (with stainless steel slide). This is Perry's gun, Perry uses it in the park. Either Val Kilmer or the writers must have fucked up Perry's dialogue when they're by the lake because he talks about Harry throwing away his Vektor, when, in fact, Harry threw away his derringer.

Perry his vektor on the black guy. He traded the Beretta to Harry, probably because he likes his Vektor.

Glock Pistol

A Glock pistol is used by the woman who shoots Harry's partner at the beginning.

Jericho 941

What appears to be a stainless Jericho 941 is held by Harry's partner at the beginning.

Smith & Wesson Auto or 1911

What appears to be either an unknown stainless S&W Auto, or an unknown stainless 1911 variant is held by Harlan Dexter. Another is used by a thug that Harry shoots.

NAA Derringer

It looks like an NAA Mini revolver, Most likely a .22 Magnum judging by the size of the cylendar. Gay Perry called his a "faggot gun", but not because he's gay but because it only holds 5 shots and has no stopping power. He kills a guy by firing it through his pants, evidently because he stores it in his crotch or pocket.

EDIT This can't be the same gun, because the "faggot gun" gets thrown into the lake by Harry, we never actually see the gun that Perry keeps in his crotch. one would assume by fire rate that it could not be a NAA arms mini revolver as they are single action only. edit but he pulls it out after he shooth him and shows the little 22 magnum. maybe he's just really quick.

EDIT But the quote in the movie about the faggot gun says it's a derringer. Could be wrong though.

Derringer is pretty much the term used to describe any tiny little revolver or tip open. Even the company calls them NAA Mini revolver derringers.

EDIT In the movie he states that the gun that was thrown into the lake by Robert Downey Jr. was a Vector.

He could also have several derringers as back-up guns.

- The exchange in the movie is: Scene "Lady in the Lake"

Perry: Where's my gun?

Harry: I got rid of it

Perry: My $2000 ceramic Vektor my mother got me as a special gift. You threw in the lake next to the car. What happens when they drag the lake? You think they'll find my pistol. Jesus! Look up "idiot" in the dictionary. You know what you'll find?

Harry: A picture of me?

Perry: No! The definition of the word idiot, which you fucking are!

--So he didn't throw the revolver in as far as Perry is concerned. Besides there is no way you could use a .22 Magnum to shoot out the trunk lock of a car and have enough power to penetrate the head of the dead girl.

This is far too much debate. It's a movie, and one modeled after pulp novels known for screw-ups and logical falsities. The "faggot gun" (called this because it "is only good for a few shots and then you need to drop it for something better," suggesting that is how Perry treats gay relationships) is an NAA mini, only called a derringer because of it's size, though it isn't a traditional "derringer." The average movie audience sees it, hears "derringer," and agrees. We can clearly see what it is, and it's an NAA mini, probably .22 magnum. Despite Downy throwing the NAA in the lake, we know that he was supposed to have thrown the Vektor. It's possible Perry has two, as the one he supposedly threw was more ornate than the one we see later, again, because the dialogue suggests so. The derringer clearly wasn't "thrown away" as far as the film canon goes, because we see it later being used and then removed from Perry's pants. It's a movie. Sometimes things get screwed up. When in doubt, follow the dialogue (the STORY), not the visuals, because only a gun owner notices the visual mistakes here, where as anyone watching the film is following the dialogue. End of story.
