The following guns were used in the movie The Rock
Beretta 92FS
The Recon Marines carry Beretta M9FS Pistols as their sidearm. Is seen being pulled out by Sergeant Crisp as he attempts to arrest General Hummel. Beretta M9s are the standard side arm for all the Navy SEALs including Stanley Goodspeed (Nicolas Cage), all with tactical flashlight attachments.
Beretta 92FS Inox
During the hotel scene Goodspeed is given a Beretta 92FS Inox from another FBI field agent.
M16A2
Standard Issue Rifle of the US military and is seen in the hands of the rogue Force Recon Marines. Many have tactical flashlights mounted on the barrels.
They're not M16A2s; if you look closely, you can see they have A1 receivers without the brass deflector and elevator-adjustable rear sight, which means they are actually M16A1s fitted with M16A2 handguards. This is actually somewhat common in Hollywood movies from the 1990s. Curiously, however, the Marines who do the 21-gun salute at the funeral do have real M16A2s.
M16A2 with M203 Grenade Launcher
Is seen once under the barrel of Captain Darrow's Rifle.
CAR-15 Commando
Is seen being used by multiple Marines in multiple scenes. Captain Frye is seen shooting the SEAL Lieutenant in the forehead during the shower room battle. Goodspeed and Mason each commandeer these rifles from two of the Marines, and use them for the rest of the film. Some of the CAR-15s have tactical flashlights mounted on the barrels.
Colt 1911 Series 70
The main villain of the film, General Frank Hummel (Ed Harris) carries an Colt 1911 Series 70 as his sidearm of choice throughout the film. It is seen being pulled out by Hummel, who then shoots Sergeant Crisp during the confrontation.
H&K MP5A3
Used by the Navy SEALs during the failed rescue mission of the prison. They have tactical flashlights mounted in the foregrips. John Mason (Sean Connery) uses an MP5A3 he commandeers from a dead SEAL, and uses it in the first half of the movie.
H&K SP89
Used by one of the SEALs during the failed attempt to save the hostages.
