The Missing is a 2003 Western starring Cate Blanchett as a single mother who searches throughout 19th century New Mexico for her kidnapped daughter. Tommy Lee Jones plays her estranged father Samuel, who, after living among the Apaches, reunites with his daughter in order to accompany her on the search. The film was directed by Ron Howard (Ransom).
