Dark Blue is a 2002 cop thriller about a third generation LAPD detective who investigates a quadruple homicide during the time of the L.A. Riots in 1992. The screenplay was written by David Ayer (Training Day) from a story by James Ellroy (L.A. Confidential).
The following weapons were used in the film Dark Blue:
Handguns
Smith & Wesson Model 10
SIS Detective Eldon Perry (Kurt Russell) carries his father's Smith & Wesson Model Military and Police .38 on the small of his back. He says that his father and his partner "built this city with bullets". He uses it to shoot through the roof at the two suspects.
Smith & Wesson 4506
Perry's chief sidearm is a Smith & Wesson 4506 which he keeps in a shoulder rig.
Smith & Wesson 4566
Perry's backup is the Smith & Wesson 4566 which he keeps on his right hip.
Smith & Wesson 59
SIS Detective Bobby Keough (Scott Speedman) carries a 9mm Smith & Wesson 59 as his chief sidearm.
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is the chief sidearm of Sgt. Beth Williamson (Michael Michele). It's seen on the nightstand when Beth is in bed with Bobby Keough.
Unknown pistol
Darryl Orchard (Kurupt) and Gary Sidwell (Dash Mihok) use two suppressed pistols while robbing the Jack O' Hearts liquor store. (I think they're using either USP's or P7 pistols).
Shotguns
Mossberg 590 Compact Cruiser
Detective Perry is armed with a Mossberg 590 Compact Cruiser as he goes to the house of Orchard and Sidwell in the climax of the film. It's outfitted with a saddle shell holder.
Mossberg Cruiser
Sgt. Williamson (Michael Michele) carries a Mossberg Cruiser as she and Keough goes to the house of Orchard and Sidwell.
Remington 870
Darryl Orchard uses a Remington 870 fitted with a ribbed barrel in an attempt to open the safe. Darryl also uses it when Van Meter comes to his house to collect the robbery money.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
An LAPD SWAT member is seen checking his Heckler & Koch MP5A3 before serving a warrant on a pair of suspects.
MAC-10
Orchard fires his MAC-10 from his roof on Keough and Williamson.
Rifles
M16A2
An LAPD SWAT member is seen checking his M16A1 fitted with an A2 handguard to resemble the M16A2 before serving a warrant on a pair of suspects.
