I think we should rename this article "Makarov pistol". PM is an acronym of "Pistolet Makarova" (literally "Makarov pistol"), so calling it "Makarov PM" is redundant and is analogous to saying "Makarov pistol Makarov". This same mistake is often made with the Dragunov sniper rifle.
