Revision as of 00:43, 20 February 2010
The following guns were used in the movie Nighthawks:
M1911A1
NYPD Detectives Deke Dasilva (Sylvester Stallone) and Matthew Fox (Billy Dee Williams) use M1911A1s as their sidearms in the film.
Remington 870
DaSilva (Sylvester Stallone) uses a Remington 870 Police Folder with a sawed off barrel to make a high-risk arrest.
Winchester Model 1897
Det. Fox (Billy Dee Williams) uses a Winchester Model 1897 shotgun during the raid.
Walther P38
Wulfgar (Rutger Hauer) uses a Walther P38.
MAC-10
The MAC-10 is used both by Wulfgar (Rutger Hauer) and Shakka (Persis Khambatta) as they hold hostages on a skytram.
Bolt action rifle
A police sniper uses an unidentified bolt action rifle. It can be seen clearly that it is being loaded with blanks
unidentified revolver
We can see Stallone shooting a nickel-plated or stainless 4” barreled revolver in an indoor range. It looks like a S&W N-frame (model 29?)
double barrel shotgun
Rutger Hauer keeps a double-barreled shotgun in another suitcase, along with several hand grenades
Smith and Wesson model 39?
In a very brief scene, we see Persis Khambatta holding an auto pistol. It looks like a S&W model 39 or 59, but it is impossible to be sure.
Also, when Nigel Davenport is giving a lecture to NYPD officers, we can see a poster behind him that shows a S&W 39, a S&W 59, several revolvers (they look like Colt and S&W), and what seems to be a Star model S.
