As for Meg Ryan's pistol, after perusing the Beretta 92 page, I'd say Beretta 92SB-C. I can see the ambidextrous safety/decocker and the rounded trigger guard, yet the barrel doesn't protrude as much. As for Meg Ryan herself, wow, she really was something back then, wasn't she?

*I just can't for the life of me figure out why it goes empty after only being shot twice. She even checks the clip after taking it off the knocked-out henchman. She fires it once (at the ceiling) to get Scrimshaw's attention and a second time accidentally, and then when she and Jack confront the guy on the stairs it suddenly is empty!
