Burn Notice is American action series that currently airs on the USA Network. It stars Jeffrey Donovan as Michael Westen, a spy who receives a "burn notice" from his employers, indicating that he is no longer associated with the agency. Stuck in the city of Miami, Michael is determined to find why he was "burned". His only allies are his former girlfriend Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) and former Navy SEAL buddy Sam ((Bruce Campbell). Together they help out people in need throughout the city.
The following weapons were used in the television series Burn Notice:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P226
The SIG-Sauer P226 is a commonly-seen pistol in the show. A two-tone model is carried by one of the Nigerian mercenaries in the pilot, and nickel models have been used by many bad guys.
- (Season 3, Episode 3) "End Run", Brennen (Jay Karnes) holds a two toned SIG-Sauer P226 (with a silver slide but black hammer).
SIG-Sauer
The sidearm of choice for Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) is the SIG-Sauer P228. Several other characters in the show can also be seen using P228s.
SIG-Sauer P226 SL Sport II
In the Season 2 episode "Turn and Burn", the drug dealer Raul (Kevin Alejandro) carries a rare SIG-Sauer P226 SL Sport II as his sidearm (when he isn't using a MAC-10).
Jericho 941 "Baby Eagle"
Stainless Jericho 941s are a very common sidearm used by bad guys in the show, especially the head bad guy in various episodes. It's almost like the infinity is to Heroes. In the episode "Family Business", the boss Eli Zamar (Joel Swetow) carried one, which Fiona later described as a "Desert Eagle 9mm with combat grips". Another was carried by Brennan (Jay Karnes) in the episode "False Flag". A suppressed version is carried by the client-turned-assassin when she tries to kill Mike and the informant. A stainless Jericho is also carried by the hijacker. Yet another Jericho is used by Chandler the art dealer, which is taken by Mike and used to hit him very hard in the head. It is also used in the third season episode "Question & Answer." A black Baby Eagle was used by the henchmen in "End Run". It is also the gun used by Strickler in episode "Long Way Home."
Colt Python
In the pilot episode, Sugar (Arturo Fernandez), the drug dealer who lives next door to Michael, is seen with a Colt Python when Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) tactically invades his home and steals it during self defense. Michael later uses this stolen weapon to use it as a distraction device. He loads it up with blank rounds, attaches a flare, cell phone and a electric blasting cap to simulate gunfire.
Walther PPK/S
Fiona Glenanne (Gabrielle Anwar) uses the Walther PPK/S as her usual sidearm.
Lorcin Model L22
Victor carries a Lorcin Model L22 in .22LR as a concealed weapon. Mike calls it "cute," but it's enough to make him think twice about attacking Victor when it's held on him under a chess table.
Heckler & Koch USP
A Heckler & Koch USP with chrome slide is used by a few different characters. It is used by a gun dealer in the first season, and again by the bank robber mastermind in the second season. It is most likely the same gun both times.
Heckler and Koch Mark 23
A Heckler & Koch Mark 23 is used by Kent the smuggler in Season 1's finale "Loose Ends". Despite being a former Marine, he has a terrible low grip on his Mark 23. Maybe it's just too much handgun for him, or maybe it's so Michael will be able to easily take it away from him.
Glock 17
Glock 17's are used by Miami PD in the many instances when Mike tricks criminals into being arrested to solve his problem of the week. One of Felix's thugs who run a car-jacking ring uses a Glock 17 to shoot at Mike, and inadvertently his own boss. In the episode "Bad Breaks", lead robber Prescott (Mark Sheppard) uses a Glock 17 pistol with a silver (possibly hard-chromed) slide and a suppressor attached. In season 3 Detective Paxson and Detective Lopez both have Glock 17's.
Glock 19
Corrupt cops are seen using Glock 19's, which is how Mike realizes they are police. He refers to them as "department issued Glocks" which implies Glock 19. In the third season episode "Question & Answer" Sam uses a Glock while playing a corrupt detective. It looks like a Glock 19.
- Sam's Glock was a full-size model, not a compact. More likely a G17. Also, I'm not sure how "department-issue Glock" means Glock 19. They're not NYPD (and even movies featuring the NYPD sometimes depict them using the wrong Glock models). -MT2008
Thanks for helping with that.-beeteles
Glock 26
The Bulgarian who tries to spoil the gun deal carries a Glock 26 as a backup piece in an ankle holster. Firing it at Mike and Seymour the arms dealer when they make their exit.
Beretta 92FS
Sam Axe (Bruce Campbell) carries a Beretta 92FS as his personal sidearm, and has used it several times throughout the series. The Beretta has also seen use with various other characters throughout the series' run, in both suppressed and unsuppressed forms.
Beretta 92FS Inox
The Beretta 92FS Inox has been used by several characters, including 'Vincent' in a kidnap attempt in the pilot.
Makarov PM
A Makarov PM is on display in a mansion in Miami, which catches Fiona's eye. As a reward for his assistance Mike buys it on the cheap and gives it to her for her birthday. While most mil-surp Makarov's are very common, and not that expensive, there are some that are sought-after collector's pieces for various reasons.
Walther P99
A two tone Walther P99 is used by the Jamaican drug dealer to threaten Mike in Season 1's "Unpaid Debts". Also used by Seymour when he meets Mike for the second time. "You got the hollow points in there?" Mike remarks. "You can tell by looking?" Seymour replies, looking at the gun long enough for Michael to disarm Him. It is also carried by a thug in "Question & Answer."
Colt M1911
Colt 1911 series handguns are seen numerous times throughout the series. First a M1911 is pulled on the gangster in Nigeria. A stainless 1911 is seen in the hands of Eddie the embezzler, given to him by Mike. Eddie does not know he has been set up, and the pistol contains only blanks. Another stainless Colt 1911 is later given to Mike by the hijacker to defend himself with, which Mike uses to pretend to shoot Virgil, the ex-Navy SEAL. It is likely the same gun both times. Later, the 1911 is used by Mike's old friend Harlan in the new season's first episode when he kidnaps Mike and threatens him with it. In the episode "Shot in the Dark", a 13 year old boy drops a disassembled M1911 before admitting that he plans to kill his stepfather.
Kimber Pro Carry II
A Kimber Pro Carry with a black slide and stainless frame is seen many times throughout the series. It apears to be an Aegis. It is first seen in the hands of a con artist in season one. At this time Mike describes it as having extended controls and a beveled magazine well, which shows how serious the criminal is. The competition style extended frame safety is noticeable in one brief shot. A similar firearm, possibly the same exact one is used by the muscle of the bank robber operation, Kandi. :Or it could be a Dectonic's Service Master. I'm not sure, but I'm sort of tired of second guessing myself and re-writing the article segment. --ManiacallyChallenged 00:42, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
There is also a Kimber SIS used by Larry`s assain in Double Booked
Smith & Wesson 4006
A stainless S&W 4006 taken from a thug by Fiona in the pilot, and used by Michael in the first couple of episodes. He later switches to the SIG P228. The Smith 4006 is also used a few times by Nate, Mike's younger brother.
Smith & Wesson 5904
Mike briefly carries a S&W 5904 after disarming some human traffickers. The rounded trigger guard indicates it is a newer version.
Smith & Wesson 5906
One of the bank robbers in the episode Bad Breaks uses a suppressed stainless Smith & Wesson 5906. A similar one is also carried by the boat guard in the same episode.
Taurus PT940
- One of the robbers in the episode "Bad Breaks" uses a Taurus PT940.
- The bank robber is using the Taurus PT940. It even says this on the page already. -MT2008
Walther PPS
- In the episode "Bad Breaks", some of the bank robbers use Walther PPS pistols with sound suppressors attached. Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) is able to acquire one of these guns from a robber after sedating him with medicine from a first-aid kit; however, as the robber goes down, he struggles with Michael and empties all but one of the rounds from the magazine, leaving Michael with no other choice but to find another way to incapacitate or eliminate the rest of the robbers.
FN FiveseveN
Thomas O'Neil uses this gun on the episode "Long Way Home."
Desert Eagle
Seen in Season 3 Episode 4 "Fearless Leader" when Sam is being audited as proof of his trip to the Middle East. He took it from a guy which was part of a group they were targeting, quote "There was this thing, and then the gun didn't have an owner anymore."
Beretta Tomcat
Seen in Season 3 Episode 4 "Friends Like These" a Beretta 3032 Tomcat is seen when Fiona is holding it on Natalie.

Interdynamic MP9
An Interdynamic MP9 is used by Felix to shoot at the armored car with Mike(who is posing as "Johnny") and inadvertently his own boss. The weapon is identified as an Interdynamic MP9 by it's foregrip and simple rear sight.
Intratec TEC-9

Ingram MAC-10
The Ingram MAC-10 is carried by robbers who rob the bank in the episode Bad Breaks. They sneak it into the bank in a cardboard box filled with packing peanuts.
Micro Uzi
A Micro Uzi is used by one of Felix's thugs when they ambush Mike.
FN P90TR
An FN P90TR fitted with an EOTECH Holosight is handled by Michael while he is posing as an arms dealer in Season 1's "Family Business". He refers to it as an "FN P90 with a Halo sight."
Heckler & Koch MP7A1
- In episode 2-09, "Good Soldier", Max Lesher's (John Allen Nelson) goon prepares to use a Heckler & Koch MP7A1 in the kidnapping attempt.
- Also in "End Run," Sam and Fiona use them when they break into Brennan's house.
- Also seen briefly in "Long Way Home" to be used by Fiona and her brother when they attempt to kill O'Neil at his hotel.
Shotguns
Armsel Protecta
In episode 2-1, Breaking and Entering Michael uses an Armsel Protecta in conjunction with 'quadrangle buckshot' and FRAG-12 ammunition to destroy some computer mainframes and blow out a window, respectively.
Remington 870 Folding Stock

Remington 870 Police Standard
Remington 870 Express
Used by Sam on several occasions.
Remington 870 Pistol Grip
Seymour procures two Remington 870 shotguns for Mike and Fiona's assault on the bombers house. He remarks that he customized them himself, and that they are loaded, with the custom ammo he made for them. They are loaded with special water rounds used to destroy explosive devices without detonating them. They are the pistol grip versions without extended magazine tubes.
Serbu Super Shorty
Fiona carries a Serbu Super Shorty while rescuing a kidnapped child in the episode Question and Answer.
Assault Rifles
SIG SG 552
Micheal uses the SIG SG 552 in the season 3 summer finale "Long Way Back"
--Is it just me, or does it look like he's using an extended magazine? Also, it seems that he has a dual clipped mag.
No it's just a 30 rounder. It's because most pics are of the 20 round mag, but people assume it must holds more since it appears to be the standard mag, since it what all the pics show. I mean why would anyone use a 20 round mag in an assault rifle designed in the 90s? This adds up to it looking longer than it's supposed to when you see an actual 30 in the gun. Just look at how the 'standard' magdoesn't drop lower than the pistol grip, this should giveyou a clue that it's not a 30, but most people fail to notice that. --Zurak 47 15:12, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Actually it is two 30 rounders clipped together. There is another picture that shows this better. The Swiss Army originally designed it with the 20 rounder because they encouraged only semi-automatic fire, and only use fully-automatic fire in emergency situations.
Heckler & Koch G36C
A pair of H&K G36C rifles are used by Carla's henchmen to kill several unknown men at the start of Season 2, Episode 1. Michael later acquires them to be planted on some mercenaries framing them for the murders.
M4A1 Carbine
- Midway through Season 2, Fiona Glennanne (Gabrielle Anwar) is seen retrieving an M4A1 Carbine from the house of a gun-running friend, Seymour. The M4A1 has been modified with an RIS-style rail handguard, a vertical foregrip, a AN/PEQ-2 IR designator system and a red-dot sight. She is seen wielding it in a few episodes, but so far has not used the weapon.
- An M4A1 fitted with an M203 grenade launcher, PEQ-2 IR pointer, Surefire light, red dot sight, and 3X magnifier was used by Mike's "old buddy" Harlan (Brian Van Holt), a Special Forces operator, in Episode 1 of Season 3 to fire into the windshield and engine block of an SUV to disable it during a snatch-and-grab op to kidnap a Venezuelan gangster.
M16A1 (with M16A2 handguards)
In the Pilot, several Nigerian soldiers were seen carrying M16A1 assault rifles fitted with M16A2-style handguards.
IMI Galil
A bystander in the marketplace is seen pointing a Galil at Michael's pursuers.
AKMSU
Most of the hijackers who steal a drug shipment for a fake heist are armed with AKMSU rifles. These weapons also appeared in many other episodes.
Looks like an MP-5 to me, of course I am known to be wrong on occassion, so don't shoot me if I'm mistaken- Jacco Croon
Sniper Rifles
Remington 700 with AICS
- In the episode Double Booked Mike uses this gun with intentions to kill his old friend Larry, who was hired to kill a woman by her greedy step-son.
Heckler & Koch SL8
A H&K SL8 rifle is used by a mercenary to watch over a deal, but ends up incriminating him when the police arrive.
Mk 12 Special Purpose Rifle
A Mk 12 Special Purpose Rifle is used by sam when they go to save Fiona.
M-1A
A M-1A with scope and Sage Stock was used by Fiona as a sniper rifle when she performed a fake assassination attempt on Campos in the episode "Turn and Burn." This rifle was first seen in the episode "Family Business" which focuses on gunrunners. During a discussion with one of the gunrunners Michael specifically refers to it as a modified M1A. at the end of the episode when Sam is seen disposing of the weapons it is not a stretch to assume he kept some of them for their use, explaining where Fiona got the rifle.
The M-1A is a Springfield Armory weapon designed for civilian use, because of this the rifle is much more likely to be the M-1A since it is a Civvie version. It is NOT an EBR (Enhanced Battle Rifle)the barrel is too long to be the EBR, which was designed for DMR as well as CQB. It is more likely the EMR (Enhanced Marksman Rifle) which has a longer barrel.
- The "Family Business" M-1A appears to be a SOPMOD conversion (note the slightly different stock and a lack of a front iron sight) instead of the EMR/EBR Fiona uses in "Turn and Burn."
Winchester Model 70
A Winchester Model 70 is frequently used by Sam to cover Mike or to provide distractions.
SVD Dragunov
A Dragunov is stolen by Mike and Victor to be used by the sniper, but it is never seen used.
Remington 700
Heavy Weapons
Browning Automatic Rifle
A B.A.R. is used by Fiona, fitted with a sniper scope, to cover Sam and Mike as they escape from the boat where Sam was held captive. Note this is related only in name and designer to the M1918 BAR and its variants.
M203 Grenade Launcher
Seen on Harlan's M4A1 in Episode 1 Season 3, but not used.
M136 AT4
Used by a drug smuggler to destroy a car in episode 1-11.
