House of Sand and Fog is a 2003 drama involving a group of people whose lives are forever changed when they battle over ownership of a particular home.
The following guns were used in the film House of Sand and Fog:
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is the sidearm of Deputy Sheriff Lester Burdon (Ron Eldard). A distraught Kathy Nicolo (Jennifer Connelly) finds Lester's Beretta in his duty belt and drives to the house of Massoud Amir Behrani (Ben Kingsley) and attempts to commit suicide with it, but doesn't know the safety is still engaged. Behrani sees her and takes it away from her. When Lester goes to the house, he takes back his Beretta and holds it on the family when he sees them carrying out a comotose Kathy from the bathroom. Later in the film, Behrani's son Esmail (Jonathan Ahdout) takes the Beretta from Lester and holds it on him.
Glock 17
Police officers who see the altercation pull their Glock 17 handguns on Esmail.
