The following guns were used in the film Resident Evil: Apocalypse
Beretta 92FS
Beretta 92FSs are used several times during the film, they are used by S.T.A.R.S and Umbrella personnel such as Peyton Wells (Razaaq Adoti), and Alice (Milla Jovovich) uses one near the end of the film. Cain (Thomas Kretschmann) also had one at the end of the movie.
Smith & Wesson 5946
Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory) uses a Smith & Wesson 5946 throughout the film. Jill also hands another one to Terri Morales (Sandrine Holt) when they enter a school, who failed to use it and was eaten.
Smith and Wesson 629 classic
When the survivors enter a church to take refuge from the zombies, they find a survivor armed with a Smith and Wesson 629 classic hiding there. When the survivor is killed by a licker, Jill (Sienna Guillory) uses his gun to shoot at the same licker until it's empty, and then discards it. In a continuity error, this gun becomes a Smith and Wesson Model 13 in several instances.
Para-Ordinance P14 Limited
Alice (Milla Jovovich) carries almost dual everything after going into a gun store. These weapons include twin Heckler & Koch MP5Ks and twin Para-Ordinance P14s. After she crashes through a church window, Alice uses her P-14s to blow up the motorcycle with a licker on it. According to the armorer, they shaved the beaver-tails and cleared up the back edges of her handguns.
SIG SG-552
A commonly used rifle in the movie, most of the Umbrella "closed helmets" use them, as well as most of the S.T.A.R.S. officers seen in the film.(pics to come)
SOCOM 16
When Alice runs down the side of the town hall tower in the climax she knocks down a Umbrella guard who's armed with a SOCOM 16 with a forward mounted M68 Aimpoint scope.
M4A1
Another commonly used rifle, used primarily by the S.T.A.R.S. They were several officers using this weapon during the shootout with the approaching zombies early on in the film. When L.J. meets the S.T.A.R.S., he is greeted with a few M4A1s to the face.
M60
During the shootout with the overrunning zombies, a S.T.A.R.S. officer can be seen(maybe for a literal second) with an M60, bipods folded. Unknown why a RESCUE service would need such a weapon.
NOTE: RE Unknown why a RESCUE service would need such a weapon. S.T.A.R.S is Special tactics and rescue squad so SPECIAL TACTICS would require an M60.
H&K MP5A3
Another common weapon, most of the S.T.A.R.S. use this weapon.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
In addition to carrying two P14.45s, Alice also carrys two Heckler & Koch MP5Ks. She most notably uses these weapons to shoot at a licker in the church, and trap it under a crucifix. Milla in the movie behind the scene and unfortunately in the novelization she actually thought they were Uzis. In the movie, the foregrips were removed and fitted with two toned recievers.
Desert Eagle
Variants of the Desert Eagle are carried by both Carlos Olivera (Oded Fehr) and L.J. (Mike Epps). Carlos carries two standard Desert Eagles in the .50 AE version while as L.J. carries twin .50 AE Gold-plated Desert Eagle handguns.
High Standard K-1200 Riot Shotgun
Alice (Milla Jovovich) grabs a High Standard K-1200 Riot Deluxe Shotgun with rifle sights, out of a police car in the abandoned streets in a quick recap of the first film.
Remington 870
A S.T.A.R.S. officer tries to give L.J. (Mike Epps) a Remington 870 when he encounters them in the theater. He declines, showing off his golden Desert Eagles instead.
Mossberg 590 "Compact Cruiser"
Alice (Milla Jovovich) carries and uses a Mossberg 590 "Compact Cruiser" through out the film. She most notably uses this weapon to blow away two lickers in the church.
- Unrealistically, she can fire it one handed.
- Yes it would be difficult, but remember she's been experimented on by Umbrella, she has heightened speed, strength, and agility.
- The grip is custom, so it might be easier shoot one handed with that customization.
- While her experimentation under Umbrella may have given her enough strength to use it one handed, a normal human being would almost certainly break their wrist trying to do so, customized pistol grip or not.
Accuracy International Arctic Warfare L96A1
A S.T.A.R.S. sniper uses an Accuracy International Arctic Warfare L96A1 while behind a sign on the roof of a theater. He uses it to save L.J. from a zombie. At first L.J. thought he was aiming for him.
IMI Tavor TAR-21
Nicholai Ginovaeff (Zack Ward) is armed with an IMI Tavor CTAR-21 which is the compact version of the TAR-21 which Yuri wields with an EoTech sight. Yuri Loginova (Stefan Hayes) also uses a Tavor TAR-21 with an Elcan scope.
Micro Galil
Carlos Olivera (Oded Fehr) uses an Micro Galil as his primary weapon. Apparently, several Umbrella soldiers with the helmets on had this weapon as well.
Nemesis' Minigun
One of the two weapons The Nemesis (Matthew G. Taylor) uses is a customized Minigun with the six barrels cut down to 12 inches,a new barrel clamp added, and an ammo counter on the side of the gun. The outer caseing was fabricated out of Aluminum to keep the weight down to 60-80 pounds. For an M134 Minigun, this is lightweight even though it is fired one-handed. The film's armorer, (Al Vrkljan), has commented the following on our forum.
"The M134 mini was really simple, we just made our own barrels at 12 inches and also made a shorter barrel clamp. Then the rest was furniture machined from aluminum to make it lighter, 60-80 pounds total, then we attached a feed chute that held 200 rnds in the chute and there you have it. It was fired by one arm, so take that Arnie. For extended firing, the ammo can was below camera frame, the longest burst was when he was taking out the stars unit, did about 15 seconds straight and that was a very long 15 seconds, funny watching the brass and link build up around his ankles."
Nemesis' Rocket Launcher
This custom prop Rocket launcher is the Nemesis' alternate weapon. The launcher (like many movie rocket or missle launchers in movies) is a custom prop, designed and built from scratch. Since no rocket launcher in Hollywood actually fires real deadly rockets, the launcher has to only hold the 'flash' launch mechanism that the special effects people/pyrotechnicians require for the shot.
Barrett M82A1
An Umbrella sniper on top of Raccoon City's city hall was about to use it to shoot Carlos when Alice popped up and surprised the man. Apparently the scope of the gun, in the movie, had some sort of advanced computer targeting system that compensates for wind direction, wind speed, and target distance.
M16A2
You can see a couple M16s strapped to boxes inside the helicopter at the end of the movie.
Heckler & Koch G36C
The Heckler & Koch G36C in the hands of biohazard men re-opening the Hive at the beginning of the film as well as various S.T.A.R.S members and Umbrella guards.
