The M41A Pulse Rifle makes a return appearance in Alien³. The rifles are carried by operatives from the Weyland-Yutani Corporation that land on the prison planet to retrieve Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) and the alien queen she is carrying. These appear to be the same firearms used in Aliens, however the frames on these are black instead of OD Green. This weapon was made from a M1 Thompson submachine gun with a Remington 870 shotgun underneath with the shroud and foregrip of a SPAS 12 covering.
