==Same as Japanese Type 100?==

This weapon looks almost identical to the [[Type 100]] (which fired 7.62mm rounds) smg used by Imperial Japanese Forces during WW2, right down to the air-cooled barrel and the 30-round, curving, side-fed magazine.  One writer notes that this weapon was not very reliable, or accurate, especially compared to the Thompson smg (which fired .45 ACP) used by American forces during the Pacific War.
