===Remington 870===
Revision as of 23:07, 5 December 2009
The following guns were used in the television series 24
Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) weapon of choice throughout Season 1 is the SIG-Sauer P228 with a nickel-plated slide. An interesting and well-known goof is that in several scenes, the gun changes from the SIG-Sauer P228 to a SIG-Sauer P229.
Richard Walsh (Michael O'Neill) uses a sound suppressed Beretta 92FS when he is taking fire from well-trained assassins during the episode "1:00A.M. - 2:00A.M.". This gun is also used by Ira Gaines' (Michael Massee) men about to execute the Bauer family during the episode "7:00A.M. - 8:00A.M.", and the LAPD officers also carry it. Used by Ira Gaines to kill Dan. Eli's weapon, taken from him by Teri Bauer (Leslie Hope) during their attempted execution.
Slung over the shoulder of one of Ira Gaines's henchmen. I'm unsure if this was an AKM or a Norinco Type 56 and if the weapon was stockless or not. Also used by at least one of Andre Drazen's men during the assault on the DOD Class 3 Detention Facility.
Oddly, this appears to be on the table Dan's corpse was placed on, despite that his weapon was the Smith & Wesson 5904 below. Also seen used by one of the guys helping Frank rip off the dealers, and some of Ira Gaines' other men.
Ira Gaines (Michael Massee) hunts Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) through the woods at the compound with a Norinco NDM-86 chambered for .308. The Norinco NDM-86 is a Chinese-made clone of the Soviet SVD. The squared off shape of the box magazine shows the chambering as being in .308 rather than the curved magazine for the rifle's original 7.62x54R cartridge.
AR15
Agent Teddy Hanlin shoots a suspect with a suppressed 5.56mm rifle, because he is angry at Jack and knew Jack wanted the suspect alive.
CTU tactical teams are carrying Heckler & Koch MP5A2 submachine guns during the rescue of Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) family during 12:00P.M. - 1:00P.M.
Glock 19
Alexis Drazen (Misha Collins) kills Kevin Carrol (Richard Burgi) with his Glock 19 9mm to tie up loose ends. Nina uses a silenced one when her cover is blown and she goes into the computer room.
Agent Ted Paulson (Kevin Ramsey) draws his Glock 17 after knowing there's a security breach at the safe house during during 3:00P.M. - 4:00P.M. The assassin Jovan Myovic's USP switches into one of these when he's hiding behind a tree on the Bauer property.
XM177 Mock-ups
Some type of M16A2 carbine variant (probably the Model 725) with chopped barrels and fake XM177-style flash suppressors installed.
Used by Jack Bauer, Warden DeSalvo, and some untrained civilians during the raid on the DOD Class 3 Detention Facility.
Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) takes two Heckler & Koch USP pistols into the climactic gunfight with the Drazens during 11:00P.M. - 12:00A.M. and fires them akimbo for the majority of the fight, killing a Drazen henchman and Andre Drazen (Željko Ivanek) in this manner. After being wounded by Viktor Drazen (Dennis Hopper), Jack Bauer then kills him with his one remaining USP, emptying the magazine into his body. A common mistake is that when his is empty the slide stays locked in place and it clicks each time he pulls the trigger.
A supressed Heckler & Koch USP was used by Jovan Myovic, an assassin working for the Drazen's, whilst attempting to kill Teri Bauer.
Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) takes a Beretta 92FS INOX off of Eddie Grant (Douglas O'Keeffe) in Episode 4 (11:00 am - 12:00 pm) when he breaks from his undercover identity to get the address of Grant's boss, Joseph Wald. When Grant's buddies see the action, though, a gunfight ensues, and Bauer uses both the Beretta and his own revolver to eliminate them. Grant takes several rounds in the face from the Beretta.
Heckler & Koch P2A1 Flare Gun
Used by Jack Bauer to kill a Coral Snake Commando in Episode 9 (4 p.m. - 5 p.m.)
M4A1 carbines were used by the Coral Snake Commandos, Jack Bauer and Nina Myers in Episodes 9 and 10. (4 p.m. - 5p.m., & 5p.m. - 6p.m.) Outfitted with ACOG Sight, Foregrip, AN/PEQ2A Laser Aiming Module and 20 round magazine.

Heckler & Koch USP
When Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is revived after being tortured to a near-death state, his initial torturer is killed and Raymond O'Hara (Bryan Goodman) takes over. But as he attempts to get information from Jack, a doctor forced to help him attacks him instead, allowing Bauer to grab Raymond's gun - a suppressed Heckler & Koch USP. Bauer dispatches Raymond and his guards, and later uses it to subdue several racists who kidnapped Kate Warner (Sarah Wynter) and got ahold of an important computer chip. It was also used earlier on in the season by an LAPD officer to kill terrorists firing on George Mason, and by Chris; one of the men on Eddie Grant's crew that bombed CTU.
Walther PPK
In the Season 2 finale, one of Peter Kingsley's (Tobin Bell) henchmen has a Walther PPK in an ankle holster. During a fight with Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), he tries to use it with no success, discharging the weapon several times. A few minutes later, Jack tries to use it against Kingsley himself, but to no avail - the gun is empty.

Used by Jack to Fight Kingsley's men during final encounter.

Also used by Secretary of Defense Heller when covering Jack during the rescue operation in episode 6. Also used by Tony Almeida after he is brought into CTU.

Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) uses a Accuracy International AWP to kill two terrorists before they kill Andrew Paige (Lukas Haas) in episode 3. In episode 8, a sniper on a roof shoots Henry Powell (Robertson Dean) in the chest and all that is seen is a straight rifle barrel. It could have been a Heckler & Koch PSG-1 because of the straight smooth barrel but is very unlikely because of how rare this weapon is seen in movies, so I identified it as a Accuracy International AWP.
A Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Deputy uses a Mossberg 500 when responding to a hostage situation at the "Mercury Mart" in episode 4.
AKMS
AKMS rifles are seen being wielded by terrorist in episodes 2, 4, and 6 so far. Secretary of Defense Heller (William Devane) himself kills 2 terrorist's with one while trying to escape in episode 4.

Glock 20
Jack gets a Glock 20 from another dead officer and after making a call, he hands it to Audrey telling her to space out her shots and conserve ammunition in episode 7. A closer look at the barrel looks like a 10mm Glock 20. It's also surprising that Audrey keeps her eyes open the whole time with out blinking. (must be the adrenaline)
Heckler & Koch MP5K
One of the assassins uses a Heckler & Koch MP5K during the ambush at Felsted Security in episode 7.
Beretta 9000S
Tony uses a Beretta 9000S to save Jack and Audrey at Felsted Security in episode 7.

Behrooz Araz (Jonathan Ahdout) gets a hold of the Glock 17 and kills his father in episode 10. Curtis Manning (Roger Cross) uses a 3rd Generation Glock 17 at his standard issue sidearm throughout the season.
