Big-bore semiauto pistol, made in several calibers. We can see it in the following movies:

The pistol is also used by the villain ("The Party Crasher") in the film The Hard Way, with Michael J. Fox and James Woods. The version used has a long barrel and is stated to be loaded with Glaser (Safety Slug) bullets.
