The following firearms were used in the film Hoffa:
WARNING! This article contains spoilers.
Colt New Service
During the first 1935 flashback, Hoffa's friend Billy Flynn (Robert Prosky) holds a Colt New Service on Bobby Ciaro (Danny DeVito) when Bobby holds Hoffa at knifepoint.
Colt Police Positive
A "scab" truck driver holds a Colt Police Positive with a three inch barrel on Hoffa during one of the organizing drives.
Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub
Bobby Ciaro (Danny DeVito) keeps a Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub in a shoulder holster in 1975, giving it to Jimmy Hoffa (Jack Nicholson), who places it in his shoe. Later, when Bobby reaches for his Model 19, he realizes he had given it to Hoffa as he grabs his empty holster.
double barreled shotgun
Inside the roadhouse, Bobby Ciaro (Danny DeVito) checks a hammerless shotgun, which Hoffa had referred to as a lupara, in anticipation of the meeting with the mobsters.
Colt Detective Special
While driving to the RTA strike, Bobby Ciaro (Danny DeVito) draws his Colt Detective Special when Hoffa's car is stopped.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
A man at the RTA strike fires a Smith & Wesson Model 10 into the air before he is apprehended by police.
Federal Gas Riot Gun
The police at the RTA strike fire Federal Gas Riot Guns into the air above the crowd.
Remington Model 30
Most clearly seen in the deleted scenes, Bobby Ciaro (Danny DeVito) hands a Remington Model 30 to mobster Carol "Dally" D'Allesandro (Armand Assante) by dramatically pulling back the bolt behind him. D'Allesandro then fires at a beer bottle, missing. Jimmy Hoffa (Jack Nicholson) takes the rifle and fires the same shot, hitting the bottle. D'Allesandro, Hoffa, and Frank Fitzsimmons (J.T. Walsh) all carry these while out "hunting".
lever action rifle
Pete Connolly (John C. Reilly) carries a lever action rifle during the 1950 "hunting" trip with Hoffa and D'Allesandro.
M1911A1
As Hoffa and D'Allesandro talk about the pension fund loans, Bobby Ciaro (Danny DeVito) spots a deer and pulls out his M1911A1, firing four shots into it and causing the other Teamsters to jump to the ground, not expecting to actually hear any gunshots on the hunting trip. While telling the story seven years later before his Senate committee hearing, Hoffa explains that Bobby then tried to skin the deer with a nail file since he didn't have a knife.
Smith & Wesson Model 49 Bodyguard
Bobby Ciaro (Danny DeVito) pulls a stainless Smith & Wesson Model 49 Bodyguard out of his shoulder holster, using it to intimidate Sol Stein (Cliff Gorman) when going to meet D'Allesandro. He later draws it when he thinks he hears gunshots (but it turns out to be a beer keg bursting).
Walther PPK
The mob hitman (Frank Whaley), disguised as a truck driver, draws a suppressed .32 ACP West German Walther PPK from his waistband during the film's end to shoot and kill both Jimmy Hoffa and Bobby Ciaro.
