Revision as of 17:56, 6 October 2009
The following guns will be used in the video game Modern Warfare 2 also known as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Glock 18
Confirmed on the video of the press presentation as a Glock 18, it fires fully automatically and is named as "G18" in game.
Heckler & Koch USP45
The Heckler & Koch USP45 has been seen in single and multiplayer, with unidentified Laser Aiming Module (It is not HK1 LAM, footage from the create a class menu confirmes it.).
Springfield Armory Professional 1911
It is possible and most likely that this is the same pistol given to Soap by Captain Price in the 1st game.
IMI Desert Eagle
In one scene of the new trailer, Faust carries a Desert Eagle with a laser aiming module attached it. He quickly shoots two agents in a quick draw at point blank before shooting at a USSF member sitting in a white van.
Colt Anaconda .44
Heckler & Koch MP5K
The MP5K with custom Rail Interface System.
Heckler & Koch UMP 45
Definitely seen with a scope, Possibly an ACOG, but this is unconfirmed. Can be equipped with extended magazines.
PP-2000
Seen on the back of FourTwoZero at the end of the flag runner video.
TDI Vector
Definite, seen with no attachment and possibly seen with suppressor. The May 24th trailer shows a brief scene of the TDI Vector being used with it's experimental 26 round magazine and possible Eotech Holographic sight.
FN P90TR
The FN P90TR weapon pickup symbol can be seen near a destoyed Mig on Mission "Cliffhangar".
IMI Mini-Uzi
Seen in the "Infamy" trailer.
FN F2000
An FN 2000 Tactical (denoted by lack of optical sight) is seen in the hands of a Brazilian Militia.
Steyr AUG HBar
This is Indeed an A2, but with an A1 Sight mounted on the top rail.
FAMAS F1
The FAMAS F1 is seen in the game. According to the firefight on mission "Cliffhangar" Roach can be seen shooting his unsurpressed secondary weapon the FAMAS F1 on burst-fire.
IMI Tavor TAR-21
The IMI Tavor TAR-21 weapon pick-up icon is seen in the new capture the flag video, seen loaded with Full Metal Jacket rounds, and is also seen in the create a class video.
.
L86 LSW
Seen in the "Afganistan" MP gameplay footages.
M4A1 Carbine
Colt M4 variant with ARMS SIR system.
M16A4
Seen in the "Infamy" trailer.
AK-47
The modern AK-47 variant with custom R.I.S., plastic magazines, pistol grip and M4 style telescopic stock.
Bushmaster ACR
Used by Roach in the gameplay demonstration at the E3's Microsoft conference. It is equipped with Remmington 6.8x43mm SPC ammunition, a silencer, reflex sight, heartbeat monitor, and a 30 round magazine. In the Rio mission Roach's Bushmaster is seen with a 40mm M203 Grenade Launcher.
FN FAL
An FN FAL rifle appears in the multiplayer as an icon for a weapon pickup, with an extended curved 30 round magazine.
FN SCAR-H
FN SCAR-L
Seen in Multiplayer menu Background art.
Heckler & Koch G3A4

M240
RPD Light Machine Gun

SPAS 12
Benelli M4 Super 90
The M1014 shotgun's icon has been mistakenly used for the SPAS-12 in the E3 demo level of Modern Warfare 2.
AA-12
Seen in the first multiplayer trailer in use by the player, seems to be fitted with the 8-round box magazine. Also seen in the second multiplayer trailer on another player's back.
Mk 14 Mod 0 EBR
The Veteran ARTFX Statue of MacTavish comes with that weapon and confirms its name ([1]).
Dragunov SVD
Cheyenne Tactical M-200 Intervention
Accuracy International Arctic Warfare
Seen in Multiplayer Menu Background art.
Barrett M82
M203 grenade launcher
Masterkey Shotgun
The 'Masterkey' shotgun is frequently seen mounted to rifles as an underslung shotgun like the M203. It is frequently seen attached to multiple rifles, most notably the FN FAL and F2000 rifles. It was likely added for reasons of community favour for adding in the weapon.
It's hard to tell whether it's a genuine Knights Armament Masterkey shotgun, but it could also be a Mossberg or Remington in a Masterkey format
RPG-7 Rocket Propelled Grenade Launcher
Seen in the "Infamy" trailer.
AT4
The M136 AT4 unguided rocket launcher has been seen in a official multi-player video and some other confirmed videos as well. In one multi-player video I realized they named the launcher a "AT4-HS". "HS" most likely is abbreviated for "Heat-Seeking" and is also how it was able to guide it's way to a moving aircraft but can still be counter measured by flares. There is a good possibility that this launcher can have custom attachments like all other weapons such as "Heat-Seeking".
M79 grenade launcher
M67 hand grenade
GE M134 Minigun
GE M134 Minigun's are mounted on Humvees and is seen being used by the player.
