Originally produced by Sterling in England and Howa in Japan, it is now made in America once again by Armalite as the modernized AR-180B, with new Polymer Lower receiver that accepts AR-15/M16(STANAG) magazines.

The Armalite AR-18 has been used by the following actors in the following films:
