Ethan Hunt ([[Tom Cruise]]) kept a Beretta Cougar in a vase at his team's HQ, in Eastern Europe. While Ethan was typing a message on his computer, he set his Beretta down next to it, after taking it out of the vase.

Mission: Impossible is the 1996 motion picture adaptation of the popular 1960's spy series. Tom Cruise plays Ethan Hunt, an agent of the IMF (Impossible Mission Force), who looks to find the mole in the IMF that got his team killed and framed him for their demise.

Prototype Gun

Jim Pelphs (Jon Voight) used some sort of a prototype gun when aboard the train. It had a suppressor, and was also assembled when he was on the train.

I think it was more of a Improvised firearm or custom firearm because is was hidden in a radio
