In this remake of a 1943 classic starring James Belushi the following guns were used.

Thompson M1928A1
Thompson M1928A1 submachine guns are used by the Allied troops.

Browning M1919
Removed from the tank, a Browning M1919 contributes a lot in the fight against the Germans. While, mostly used by Tambul (Robert Wisdom), it is later picked by Sgt. Gunn.
Bren LMG
British Allies have a number of Bren guns used consequently by different soldiers.
Lee Enfield No. 1 Mk III SMLE
Sergeant-major Tambul (Robert Wisdon) of the Sudanese Army carries a Lee Enfield No. 1 Mk III SMLE with a bayonet.
Karabiner 98k
Standard weapon of German infantryman during World War II, known to be Hitler's favorite rifle. Most Germans are armed with this 1898 Mauser Carbine.
MP40
Many German soldiers carry MP40s. Some are later collected by the Allies to replenish their firepower.
MG34
MG34 doesn't see a lot of action in this movie. At least, it doesn't appear much in the shot.

Germans have a few MG42s. One is later dismounted from the half-track by the Allies and used against the Germans.

Sergeant Gunn's sidearm.
Luger P08
A Luger P08 is the sidearm of the German pilot gunned down by Sgt. Gunn.
Walther P38
A Walther P38 is the sidearm of the German commanding officer, which he uses to execute the soldier who gave up Gunn's information about the German forces. Later, LaRoux takes it away after stabbing the officer and shoots a German soldier who accompanied the officer to the negotiations.
