The following weapons were used in the film Operation Dumbo Drop
Recoiless Rifle
In the prologue there is a standoff between an NVA mortar crew and US Army troops manning a M151 MUTT mounted Recoiless Rifle.
Mortar
In the prologue there is a NVA mortar crew operating an unknown mortar.
M16A1
With the exception of Lt. David Poole (Denis Leary) all the protaganists are armed with M16A1s. The ARVN and C123 airmen also utilize the M16A1.
M60D
The M60D is mounted on all UH-1's in the film.
M26 Grenade
The M26 Grenade is worn by several US soldiers in the film ,and one is used to scare Spc. Ashford([[ Doug E. Doug]]) out of his Hooch.
Type 56
The Type 56 is used by all NVA soldiers in the film.
M60
The M60 is briefly seen in a US pillbox guarding the base.
M18 Smoke
Several M18 Smoke Grenade are worn on Spc. Farley's Radio pack.
Tokarev TT-33
When the NVA spies jump everyone in the city ,one of them is armed with a Tokarev TT-33.
Browning Hi-Power
Lt. David Poole and Capt. T.C. Doyle(Ray Liotta) have Browning Hi-Power's as sidearms instead of the standard issue M1911A1.
DsHK
The NVA use a DsHK with anti-aircraft sights to shoot the C123 carrying the protaganists.
Miscellaneous
Ka-Bar Capt. Doyle and Capt. Cahill both keep Ka-Bars.
