In the episode "Time to Crime", a MAC-10 is used in a drive-by shooting in 1987 that kills a little girl. When the gun is finally recovered, the team traces it back from owner to owner until finally learning that the girl was killed accidentally by her older brother, who had been trying to kill a local drug dealer.
