The Martini-Henry rifle is a single shot breech loading rifle used by the British army in the late 1800's. It fired the .577/.450 cartridge. It is the primary firearm used in the films Zulu and Zulu Dawn.

It is used by:

  • Michael Caine in Zulu
  • Peter O'Toole and Burt Lancaster in Zulu Dawn
  • British Troops in Shaka Zulu
  • British Troops in Gunga Din
