Homeland Security Agent Ron Fox (Rob Corddry) uses a SIG-Sauer P226 pistol as his sidearm throughout the movie. The U.S. Air Marshals who arrest Harold and Kumar on the plane to Amsterdam are also armed with P226s.

Are you certain they weren't P229's because that is standard issue for real life air marshals (not that this seems like a film concerned with accuracy)
