The following weapons were used in the film The Outsider (also known as Le Marginal):
Manurhin MR-73
Used as a service sidearm by Jean-Paul Belmondo. The French National Police in that era used both the Manurhin MR-73 and the less expensive Manurhin Special Police F-1 (a french version of the Ruger Service Six, manufactured under license). Nowadays, both the National Police and the Gendarmes use the Sig-Sauer SP2022
Beretta M93R
Used by Belmondo at the end of the film
