The guns used in this PS3 game weren't all fully named, or shortened. Perhaps for copyrights

Makarov PM

File:Pm-1.jpg The starting handgun of the game for Drake. The game called it the PM 9mm. It has 8 shots, and from what it appears, it looks like the 1971 standard military model. It is the primary sidearm for Raja's pirates.

Beretta 92FS Inox

In the game, it was named the 92FS 9mm with 15 round magazines. Elena, the reporter, uses one throughout the game, and it is also the primary sidearm of the mercenary forces.

Smith & Wesson Model 29 Revolver

The game called it the Wess 44. So from the number alone, it's a .44 caliber revolver. This is used by Victor Sullivan as his primary sidearm. Gabriel Roman uses a snub nosed version which he keeps holstered for most of the game. I'm pretty sure Roman doesn't have a .44 because Drakes diary stops the bullet from killing Sully and .44 would not only have gone through the diary but it would have gone throught Sully as well. Humanzie3

(Any idea on the ID of it then? It is definitely some kind of snub nosed revolver.)

it's probably a .38 special. Like Smith and Wesson .38 chief's special. Humanzie3

It's a colt anaconda. the model 29 was an N frame and this thing is stainless steel and the shroud for the cylinder thing runs the length of th barrel. im not so sure S&W makes a weapon such as this in .44 magnum, but im sure colt does.

They could of course mean a Dan Wesson revolver of some sort.

It can't possibly be a 44. The bullet didn't even go all the way through Drakes Diary. Humanzie3

any of yall ever thought that it might of been a smith and wesson model 629, witch is a stainless steal revolver, it is what replaced the infamous model 29

Sulley carries a 629, but not Roman. Humanzie3 is right the bullet couldn't have been as powerful as a .44.

Its a game, it doesn't need to be realistic, besides, even .38 special would pierce a diary anyway. -k9870

but he could have been shooting .44 specials, which are highly underpowered. - drh

If that's the case, then I'm thinking it's a Horton Special.-Neoindy

Desert Eagle

In the game, they renamed it the Desert 5. 7 round capacity. Eddie Raja uses a custom, gold plated version with ivory grips inlaid with a dragon design. File:Example.jpg

Micro Uzi

In the game, it is called the Micro 9mm. Used by Raja's pirates

AK-47

Used by Eddie Raja's pirates as their standard rifle.

M4

Used by the better equipped mercenaries of Navarro and Roman as the standard rifle.

MP-40

MP-40 SMGs that Germans left behind in their bunker.

Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun

Unknown model, but in the game it is named Moss 12. Appears to be a Compact Cruiser. Used mainly by Raja's pirates.

Spas 12

In the game it's named the SAS 12. Used by Roman's mercenaries and Navarro during the final battle.

Dragunov SVD

In the game it is renamed Dragon Sniper rifle.

M79 Grenade Launcher

That is what the game named them as. Seems to be M79 grenade launchers fitted with a pistol grip almost is if it were a shotgun, probably for better maneuverability in the jungle, but would reduce accuracy and give it some major recoil.
