Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is a 2023 original streaming series that follows pair of siblings that embark on an investigation that would eventually lead them to the secret organization that is known as Monarch. The series is set in the "Monsterverse", that began with 2014's Godzilla. The series premiered on the streaming service AppleTV+ on November 17, 2023, and the cast includes Ren Watabe, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, as well as Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell, who both portray the character of Lee Shaw during different time periods.

Pistols
M1911A1
The M1911A1 pistol is used by a young Lee Shaw (Wyatt Russell) during his time in the US military.
Orion Flare Gun
An Orion Flare Gun is seen in "Secrets and Lies" (S1E03) with an older Lee Shaw (Kurt Russell). In "Parallels and Interiors", it's briefly used by Kentaro Randa (Ren Watabe).
Rifles/Carbines
Colt M4A1
The Colt M4A1 carbine is seen with US National Guard soldiers and MONARCH operators. In "Secrets and Lies", South Korean Special Operations Unit (SOU) operators are in Pohang Port armed with the carbine.
Howa Type 89
The Howa Type 89 is seen throughout the show with Japanese paramilitary forces.
