Buck Rogers in the 25th Century is an American science-fiction adventure television series produced by Universal Studios. The series ran for two seasons between 1979 and 1981, and the feature-length pilot episode for the series was released as a theatrical film before the series aired. The film and series were developed by Glen A. Larson and Leslie Stevens, based on the character Buck Rogers created in 1928 by Philip Francis Nowlan that had previously been featured in comic strips, novellas, a serial film, and on television and radio.
The following weapons were used in the television series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century:
Machine Guns
Browning M2 Aircraft
In the season 1 episode "Return of the Fighting 69th," a pre-loaded Browning M2 Aircraft in the flexible configuration is retrieved by Buck Rogers (Gil Gerard) from atop a crate of stolen 20th century Earth surplus, flanked by other M2 Aircrafts with and without spade grips. Rogers uses it against their foes, who erroneously believe the piece to be an "ancient signaling device."
Rifles
M16
A M16-SP1 is equipped by no fewer than three U.S. Air Force guards in "Testimony of a Traitor" (S02E12) appear without the "birdcage" flash hider.
Toy Pistols
"Pony Boy" Cap Pistol
The robotic "ambuquad" Twiki (Felix Silla) is seen with two "Pony Boy" cap pistols in "Buck's Duel to the Death" (S01E22).
Unknown Pistol
An unknown pistol is used by Buck Rogers (Gil Gerard) in the episode "Testimony of a Traitor" (S02E12) while impersonating a guard at the military base he infiltrates.
