Believer (Korean title: 독전, Dokjeon, "Dogfight") is a 2018 South Korean action crime film based on the 2012 Hong Kong film Drug War. The film stars Cho Jin-woong as Won-ho, a police detective attempting to bring down Asia's biggest drug cartel run by a man called Mr. Lee with the help of Seo Young-rak (Ryu Jun-yeol), a low-level drug dealer and former member of Lee's gang. The film will followed by a sequel, Believer 2, set to be released on November 2023.
