Parasite Eve is the inaugural game in Square Enix's Parasite Eve series released for the PS1 in 1998. It is a loose sequel to Hideaki Sena's novel of the same name. As it was released in the PS1 era, models are very low-poly. The game also uses a mix of real world names as well as being off ones but recognizable enough not to send out royalties.

Pistols
AMC Auto Mag Pistol
Called the AM44 in-game. Can be acquired in the 11th-20th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus.
Auto Ordnance M1911A1
Can be acquired in the sewers of Carnegie Hall near the end of Day 1.
Beretta 84F
Called M84F in-game. It is Aya's starting gun.
Beretta 92F
Called M92F in-game. Given to Aya in Day 3. It's the only weapon in the game with the maximum ten slots.
Beretta 8000 Cougar
Called M8000 in-game. It can be acquired after defeating the Tyrannosaurus Rex Boss at the American Museum of Natural History towards the end of Day 5. It is the first of two guns found equipped with the Double Command ability.
Desert Eagle Mark VII
Called the DE50AE7 in-game. Give Wayne 300 junks and ask him to make you a handgun.
Glock 19
Called the G19 in-game. It can be acquired at the Soho Gun Shop in Day 3.
Glock 20
Called the G20 in-game. It can be acquired at the 41st-50th floors of the Chrysler Building in New Game Plus. It is one of only four guns equipped with a Counter-Attack ability.
Glock 22
Called the G22 in-game. It can be acquired at the first floor of the American Museum of Natural History in Day 5.
Glock 23
Called the G23 in-game. It can be acquired after defeating the Spiderwoman Boss at the end of Day 4.
Heckler & Koch Mark 23
Simply called the Mark 23 in-game. Can be acquired in the 21st-30th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus. It is one of only three guns in the entire game equipped with the Strike First ability.
Heckler & Koch USP Tactical
Called USP-TU in-game. Give 300 junks to Wayne and ask him to make you a random gun and Aya might get this gun. It is one of only four guns equipped with a Counter-Attack ability.
Mauser C96
Called the M96 in-game. Can be acquired in the 11th-20th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus.
Mauser C96 "1920 Rework"
Called the M96R in-game. Can be acquired in the 61st-70th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus. It is the only gun equipped with the Triple Command Ability.
Mauser M712 Schnellfeuer
Called the M712 in-game. Can be acquired in the 51st-60th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus. It is one of only four guns equipped with a Counter-Attack ability.
SIG-Sauer P220
Called the P220 in-game. The very first obtainable gun, acquired in the closet at the basement of Carnegie Hall in Day 1.
SIG-Sauer P226
Called the P226 in-game. Can be acquired in the 2nd-10th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus.
SIG-Sauer P228
Called the P228 in-game. Can be acquired in the 2nd-10th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus.
SIG-Sauer P229
Called the P229 in-game. Can be acquired in the 11th-20th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus.
Vektor SP1
Called SP1C in-game. Give 300 junks to Wayne and ask him to make you a random gun and Aya might get this gun.
Walther PPK
Called the PPK in-game. It can be acquired at the optional Warehouse mission in Day 5. It is one of only three guns in the entire game equipped with the Strike First ability, and the first and easiest to obtain.

AK-47
Give 300 junks to Wayne and ask him to make you a random gun and Aya might get this gun. It is the only gun in the game equipped with both the Critical Attack and Counter-Attack abilities.
FAMAS
Called the FA-MAS in-game. Can be acquired in the 51st-60th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus.
Galil SAR
Called simply SAR in-game. Can be acquired in the 41st-50th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus.
M16A1
The very first rifle acquired in the game, issued to Aya by Chief Baker at the start of Day 2.
SIG SG 550
Called the SG550 in-game. Can be acquired if you beat the Dogman mini-boss at the 3rd floor weapons storage during the attack on the NYPD precinct in Day 3.
Steyr AUG
Called the MAG in-game. Give Wayne 300 junks and ask him to make you a rifle. It is one of only four guns equipped with the Critical-Attack ability.
XM177E2
Can be acquired in the 61st-70th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus. It is one of only four guns in the entire game equipped with the Critical-Attack ability.

Can be acquired at the 13th floor of St. Francis Hospital in Day 4.
Howa Type 64
Simply called Type 64 in-game. Can be acquired at the 21st-30th floors of the Chrysler Building in New Game Plus. It is one of only four guns in the entire game equipped with the Critical-Attack ability.

Can be acquired at the 31st-40th floors of the Chrysler Building in New Game Plus.

Called the M10 in-game. Can be acquired at the basement of St. Francis Hospital in Day 4. Interchangeable with the Micro Uzi.
MAC-11
Called the M11 in-game. It is the first machine gun obtainable in the game, acquired at the Soho Gun Shop in Day 3.

FN P90
Called the P90 in-game. Give Wayne 300 junks and ask him to make you a machine gun. It's one of only three guns equipped with the Attack All ability. It also has the highest starting bullet cap in the game at 201.
Heckler & Koch MP5A5
Can be acquired in the 31st-40th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus. It's one of only three guns equipped with the Attack All ability.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
Can be acquired at the 1st floor weapons storage during the attack on the NYPD precinct in Day 3.
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
Called MP5PDW in-game. Can be acquired at the 2nd floor of the American Museum of Natural History in Day 5.

A Micro Uzi can be acquired at the basement of St. Francis Hospital in Day 4, though it is interchangeable with the MAC-10. The original variant, called "Full Uzi" in-game, can be acquired in the 11th-20th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus.

High Standard Model 10B
Called the M10B in-game. Give Wayne 300 junks and ask him to make you a shotgun.
Maverick Model 88
Simply called Maverick in-game. Can be acquired at the 31st-40th floors of Chrysler Building during New Game Plus.
Mossberg 500
Called M500 in-game. Can be acquired at the 2nd floor of the American Museum of Natural History in Day 5, and again at the 61st-70th floors of Chrysler Building during New Game Plus.
Mossberg 500 Bullpup
Called M500-2 in-game. Can be acquired at the 61st-70th floors of Chrysler Building during New Game Plus. It's the shotgun with the highest max slots at 9.
Remington Model 870
Called M870 in-game. The first obtainable shotgun in the game, which can be acquired at the Chinatown Sewers in Day 5.
Remington Model 870 Field Gun
Called M870-2 in-game. Can be acquired at the 21st-30th floors of Chrysler Building during New Game Plus.
Saiga-12
Called S12 in-game. Can be acquired in the 51st-60th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus.
Grenade Launchers
Heckler & Koch AG36
Called the HK40 in-game. Give Wayne 300 junks and ask him to make you a grenade launcher.
M203 grenade launcher
The first variantcan be obtained at the Central Park clinic starting Day 2. It's equipped with the Heat effect. The second one, called M203-2, can be acquired at the optional Warehouse mission in Day 5. It also comes with Heat effect. The third one, called M320-3, in the Chinatown Sewers on the same day and is equipped with the Acid effect. The fourth, called M203-4, is found on the 1st floor of the American Museum of Natural History also on the same day. It is equipped with the Frost effect and is the grenade launcher with the highest max slots available at 7. The fifth variant, called M203-5, can be acquired in the 11th-20th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus. The sixth and final variant, called M203-6, can be acquired in the 61st-70th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus and is the only gun equipped with the Cyanide effect which can instantly kill enemies.
M79 grenade launcher
The first variant can be obtained at the basement of St. Francis Hospital in Day 4 and is the only gun equipped with the Tranquilizer effect. The second one, called M79-2, can be acquired at Chinatown in Day 5 and is equipped with the Heat effect. The third one, called M79-3, can be obtained after defeating the Centipede Boss in the Chinatown Sewers on the same day and is equipped with the Frost effect. The fourth, called M79-4, can be acquired in the 2nd-10th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus. The fifth and final variant, called M79-5, can be acquired in the 21st-30th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus.
Rocket Launchers
LAW 80
Give Wayne 300 junks and ask him to make you a rocket launcher.
Saab Bofors Dynamics AT4
The regular version can be acquired after defeating the Giant Crab Boss of the optional Warehouse mission in Day 5. It is the first and easiest to obtain rocket launcher in the game. The Swedish variant, called AT4-1 in-game, can be acquired in the 41st-50th floors of the Chrysler Building during New Game Plus.
