The Woman and the Gun (Filipino title: Babae at Baril; lit. "A Girl and a Gun") is a 2019 Filipino thriller-drama film. The film stars Janine Gutierrez as Babae, a department store saleslady who faces oppression and harassment from her superiors, coworkers, customers, and living conditions. After taking a gun she finds in a garbage dump, she starts using it to exert her authority on the people pushing her around, only to discover the consequences and moral dilemmas of using a dangerous weapon to coerce other people.

The following weapons were used in the film The Woman and the Gun:

Revolvers

WinGun 733

The film's titular gun is a WinGun 733, in reality an airsoft gun. The revolver is likely the same prop used in Dead Kids, this connection being made more likely by the fact that both films were produced and released at around the same time and that both films' directors are related to each other and possibly share close communication between their productions (Rae Red is the cousin of Dead Kids director Mikhail Red).

In a flashback, as Miguel (JC Santos) dares Jun (Elijah Canlas) to fight him, the former gives the revolver to the latter to give him a fighting chance.

As Jun desperately tries to pull the revolver's trigger on Miguel, the cylinder opens, revealing some extremely obvious airsoft casings. In this scene, Miguel also states that the revolver's safety is on; this may have resulted from the fact that airsoft revolvers like the WinGun often have safeties as part of their cylinder releases.
