The State Border: Film 1 (Russian Title: Государственная граница: Мы наш, мы новый.../Gosudarstvennaya granitsa: My nash, my novyy...*) is a 1980 Soviet television film directed by Boris Stepanov. "The State border" are the historical-adventure television series about the Soviet border guards. The action takes place in the period from 1917 to late 1980 on the territory of the USSR from the Far East to the western borders. The first film story takes place in 1917 after the Russian Revolution. The former tsarist border guard service officer Danovich takes decision to participate in the creation of border guard service of the young Soviet state.

* The title is derived from the line of the Russian translation of The Internationale "My nash, my novyy mir postroim", in English transaltion "We will build our new world".
