The Man Who Cheated Himself was filmed in 1950 about a veteran San Francisco police detective that has been seeing a married socialite when she kills her husband, claiming he was going to kill her. Hoping to keep his involvement with the married woman a secret, the detective helps her cover up the murder by setting it up to look like the death was a result of a botched robbery attempt. Will the detective be able to keep his brother from discovering his involvement in the death and discovering the truth behind the murder.
