Bullet Train is a 2022 action comedy film directed by David Leitch and written by Zak Olkewicz. The film is based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle (published in English as Bullet Train) by Kōtarō Isaka. Brad Pitt stars in the film as a professional thief codenamed "Ladybug", who receives the task of collecting a briefcase located on a high-speed train heading from Tokyo to Kyoto.
