Outside the Wire is a 2021 Netflix science fiction film starring Anthony Mackie and waadirected by Mikael Håfström (Escape Plan). Set in the year 2036, a civil war starts in Ukraine between pro-Russian "Krazni" rebels led by Victor Koval and the legitimate government, with the US acting as peacekeepers. Leo (Mackie) is an android soldier who is paired with Lt. Harp (Damson Idris) in order to prevent the rebels from committing an act that could lead to a global catastrophe. The film was released on Netflix in January of 2021.
