A modified air rifle based on the Berdan Rifle is used by the protagonist Nikolai Orelov. Unmodified Berdans are used by Red Army veterans.

Springfield M1908
A M1903 Springfield appears as the "Bayonet Sword". With a discrepancy of 1030 years, is one of the most anachronistic firearms in the whole franchise. It can't be used as a rifle, even though is understandable since 30-06 ammo would be impossible to find at the time.
