Marauders is an hardcore looter-extraction shooter released for Early Access in 2022. Set in an alternate 1992, several decades after a more destructive World War I rendered planet Earth uninhabitable and forced mankind and the surviving superpowers to become space-faring colonial empires hell-bent on hording precious resources and settle old scores once and for all. The player is put into the shoes of the Marauders, semi-independent groups of space privateers and mercenaries who takes contracts from the three remaining major powers: the Central Empire, the Kingdom Alliance and the United Allies.
Many of the rare firearms featured in the game can be attributed to frequent collaborations between publishers Team 17 and the Royal Armouries Museum of London.
NOTES: Due to the game's nature as an Early Access title, many of the featured firearms have placeholder reloading animations: such as belt-fed weapons reloading from invisible mags, shotguns reloading off-screen (as functionally their reload systems are coded similar to magazine-fed weapons), etc. Another commonly noted quirk is that most weapons are missing rear irons sights, which may be the developers' creative decision to clear up the ADS sight picture for more casual audiences.
The following weapons appear in the video game Marauders:
Pistols
Luger P08
The Luger P08 appears in the game as a basic sidearm using "9mm" ammo in a 8-round magazine. The default "Rustbucket" dropship usually spawns a Luger P08 for free, alongside 30-rounds of 9mm and a Basic Rig on every raid.
Colt M1911
M1911A1
The M1911A1 appears as the "1911 Government" chambered in ".45 ACP" in 8-round magazines. Compared to the Stamped versions, the "1911 Government" pistols appear to do more damage. While relatively rare as world spawns, they are more commonly found as sidearms for U.A Medics.
"1911 Stamped"
A rare experimental variant of the M1911 made of cheap stamped-sheet manufacturing methods (in the vein of the FP-45 Liberator pistol) appears as the "M1911 Stamped", apparently mass-produced in this alternate history as the standard sidearm of the United Allies. Compared to the original M1911 models, these only hold 7-rounds of ".45 ACP".
Mauser M712 Schnellfeuer
The Mauser M712 Schnellfeuer can be found in the game as the "Mauser M712" and has select-fire capability between semi and full-auto. It is chambered in "10mm" in its default 10-round magazine, presumably standing-in for 7.63x25mm Mauser and can be attached with a wooden stock/holster, suppressor and 20-round extended magazine.
"M712 Special" (PASAM machine pistol)
A unique variant of the Schnellfeuer modelled after the Brazilian PASAM machine pistol prototypes is exclusively carried by the Red Baron called the "M712 Special" was added in his eponymous "Red Baron Update". It is chambered in .45 ACP, comes with a default 20-round magazine and unlike the Schnellfeuer, occupies the primary weapon slots instead of the sidearm slot. It is able to take the same stock and suppressor modification as the regular Mauser M712.
Sa vz. 61 Skorpion
The Sa vz. 61 Skorpion appears in the the game as the "VZ Klobb"; a reference to GoldenEye 007's naming of the Skorpion and occupies the sidearm slot. While modelled after the .32 ACP version, it is instead chambered in "9mm" in 20-round magazines. As of 2022, the gun appears to have the options for attachments, but are currently unavailable in-game.
Webley .455 Mk I
The Webley .455 Mk I is a revolver that can be found on Kingdom Alliance Navy members or the S.A.S Operatives. It is chambered in ".32 ACP" in a 6-round cylinder.
Welrod Mk2
The Welrod suppressed pistol is available in the game chambered in ".32 ACP" in 6-round magazines (which is only correct for 9mm versions of the Welrod; .32 ACP Welrod mags had a 8-round capacity). It can be bought from Kingdom Alliance traders or commonly found as sidearms from S.A.S Operatives.
Submachine Guns
Carl Gustaf m/45
The Carl Gustaf m/45 appears as the "M45 "K"" and chambered in "9mm" in 36-round magazines. It currently has no other attachments to its name. It is the standard SMG of the U.A Marines and the occasional Raider.
IMI Uzi
The IMI Uzi appears in the game simply as the "Uzi" and is chambered in "9mm" in 20-round magazines. By default it comes without any stock, but can be upgraded with both a traditional wooden stock, 32-round extended mags as well as a suppressor. It can be uncommonly found in the hands of Raiders.
Reising M50
The Reising Submachine Gun appears in the game as the "M50 Reising" and is chambered in ".45 ACP" in a 12-round magazine. It is curiously classified in-game as a 'rifle' and has select-fire capability from semi to full-auto. It can upgraded with a 20-round extended mag and either a suppressor or compensator. They are commonly found in the hands of Prisoners.
M1928A1 Thompson
The M1928A1 Thompson submachine gun appears in the game as the "Thompson" chambered in ".45 ACP". By default it comes with the older wooden vertical foregrip, but missing its wooden stock and loads from 30-round stick magazines. The wooden stock and 50-round drum magazine can be obtained from high-level United Allies traders and carried by S.A.S Operatives.
"Heavy Thompson"
A modified "Heavy" variant of the M1928 can be found in United Allies Supply crates as the "Heavy Thompson" chambered in ".45 ACP". Bizarrely, it has a scaled-down Maxim M1910 machine gun's water-cooled jacket mounted over the barrel with no visibly-attached hose with water can for it to properly function, as well as the gun-shield which is in-fact, functional and gives the shooter a degree of protection. It can be similarly modified with the same 50-round drum mag and wooden stock from the regular Thompson.
MAC-10
The Ingram MAC-10 appears in the game simply as the "MAC-10" chambered for ".45 ACP" in 30-round magazines. It can accept either a suppressor, or a heavy barrel for attachments. It is commonly found in the hands of escaped Prisoners.
MAT-49
The MAT-49 appears in the game under its real name and incorrectly chambered in ".32 ACP" in 32-round magazines. It comes without its retractable stock by default, but can be upgraded with said stock either through crafting or by traders. It is commonly used by Raiders and U.A Security personnel.
MP40
The MP40 appears in the game incorrectly chambered for "10mm" instead of the already-existing "9mm", presumably for gameplay balance variation reasons. It comes without the retractable stock by default but can be upgraded with the aforementioned stock and a suppressor. They are commonly found in the hands of Central Empire Commandos and Raiders.
MP Jelen
The Croatian MP Jelen, a crude modification of the Soviet PPSh-41 appears in the game as the game's version of the PPSh-41, and is incorrectly chambered for "10mm" in equally incorrect 36-round magazines, presumably as a stand-in to 7.62x25mm Tokarev. It can be upgraded with a drum magazine that only holds 56-rounds as opposed to the real-life 71-rounds, presumably for balance reasons. In pre-beta builds of the game, the PPSh-41 was modelled after a standard Soviet-made PPSh-41 with wooden stock and full-length barrel intact. They are commonly found in the hands of Raiders and U.A Security personnel.
Sten Mk I
The prototype version of the Sten Mk I, known as the T40, appears in the game under its name chambered in "9mm" in 32-round magazines. The weapon by default has no stock, but can be upgraded with a wooden one that resembles that of the MP 3008, as well as an extended 50-round drum magazine and either a suppressor or a compensator for muzzle attachments. It is commonly carried by S.A.S Operatives. The pre-beta and Early Access release version of the weapon was previously a Sten Mk II which converts into a Sten Mk II(S) with the suppressor attachment.
Viper Mk I
The prototype Viper Machine Carbine appears in the game as a "ViperMK1" chambered in "9mm" in 32-round magazines. It can only be found in K.A Supply Drops, weapon storage areas and can only be fired from the hip, as the weapon lack sights to aim with.
Shotguns
Cobray Terminator
The Cobray Terminator shotgun appears in the game as the "Terminator" chambered in "12 Gauge". It is a single shot, open bolt shotgun only used by Raiders and Prisoners.
Ithaca Model 37 Trench Gun
The Ithaca 37 in a trench gun configuration appears as the "Trench Gun". It accurately hold 5-rounds in a magazine tube and chambered for "12 gauge". It fcan only be found in Supply Drops and weapon caches.
Pancor Jackhammer
The Pancor Jackhammer appears in the game and chambered for "12-Gauge" in a 10-round magazine. It fires in full-auto and can only be found in Supply Drops and weapon caches.
Sawed-Off Double Barrel Shotgun
The Sawed-Off Double Barrel Shotgun appears in the game simply as the "Sawed Off" and chambered in "12 Gauge". It occupies the sidearm slot and is commonly used by Prisoners and sold by Pirates traders.
Winchester Liberator Mark II
The prototype Winchester Liberator derringer shotgun appears in the game as the "Liberator" chambered in "12 Gauge". It holds 4-shots in a derringer-style configuration. Despite being described in-game as a prototype, it is most commonly found in the hands of Raiders and U.A Security personnel.
Rifles
Colt M16A1
The M16A1 with wooden furniture appears in the game as the "M16", and is chambered for "5.56mm" ammo in 20-round magazines by default. It fires in semi-auto, but can erroneously be switched to a 3-round burst fire which the A1 variant lacks. It can be upgraded with 30-round extended magazines and a scope based on the Colt 3x20. The M16 is commonly seen in the hands of U.A Marines and veteran Raiders.
De Lisle Carbine
The De Lisle Carbine appears under its exact name and chambered in ".45 ACP" in 11-round magazines. It is commonly found in use by S.A.S Operatives. It is incorrectly depicted as semi-auto due to placeholder animations.
Enfield EM-2
The Enfield EM-2 prototype bullpup rifle appears in the game as the "EM-2" and is chambered in "5.56mm" rounds in 20-round magazines, apparently having been reworked in-universe by the Kingdom Alliance from its original .280 British calibre. It is carried by S.A.S Operatives and currently has no mods to its name.
Daewoo K1A
The Daewoo K1A appears in the game as the "K1 Assault" and is chambered for "5.56mm" ammo in 20-round magazines. By default, it is missing the wire stock and muzzle attachment, but can be upgraded with 30-round extended mags, a compensator, and the wire stock.
FN FAL
The FN FAL was added in the "Red Baron" update as the "L1A1 Battle Rifle"; despite being named as its British semi-auto counterpart it actually has full-auto capability like a regular FAL. It is chambered in ".300 Magnum" (despite the more 'correct' "7.62mm" already existing in-game) in 20-round magazines, but can be upgraded with 30-round extended mags and a muzzle device.
Samopal 81 Krása
The Czech-designed Sa. 81 Krása carbine appears in the game as the "Krása Rifle" and is chambered for "7.62mm" in 20-round magazines. It has no modifications and is commonly used by Central Empire Commandos.
M1 Garand
The M1 Garand is an upcoming weapon set to appear in a future update as seen in the Early Access Roadmap.
M1941 Johnson rifle
The M1941 Johnson rifle appears as the "M1941 Johnson" and is chambered for ".300 Magnum" (presumably a stand-in to .30-06 rounds) in 10-round magazines. It currently has no attachment options and most commonly seen in the hands of U.A Marines.
M1A1 Carbine
The M1A1 Carbine paratrooper carbine in the Universal folding-stock configuration appears as the "M1A1 Para" and chambered in ".32 ACP" (presumably standing-in to .30 Carbine ammo) in 15-round magazines. There are no attachment options currently and is seen commonly used by U.A Security personnel, U.A Marines and Raiders.
Mosin Nagant "Obrez"
The sawed-down Mosin Nagant "Obrez" rifle appears as the "Mosin Obrez" and is chambered in "54 R" rounds in a 5-round internal magazine. It occupies the sidearm slot and most fittingly seen in use by Raiders and Prisoners.
Stoner 63A
The Stoner 63A appears in the game under it's actual name. It is chambered for "5.56mm" ammo in 30-round magazines with no attachments to its name. The rifle is modelled after the 63A assault rifle configuration with a wooden stock but retains the polycarbonate armguard.
Sturmgewehr 44
The Sturmgewehr 44 appears as the "STG-44" and is chambered for "7.62mm" ammo (presumably standing-in to 7.92x33mm Kurz) in 30-round magazines. It has no attachments currently and is only used by Central Empire Commandos.
Tokarev SVT-40
The Tokarev SVT-40 rifle appears in the game as the "SVT-40" and is chambered in "54 R" in 10-round magazines. It can mount a PU sniper scope and is uncommonly used by Raiders and Central Empire Commandos.
Machine Guns
Bren Gun Mk2
The Bren gun appears in the game as the "Bren Mk2" and is chambered in "7.62mm" (presumably standing-in for .303 British or an allusion to the later L4A4 variant in 7.62x51mm NATO), erroneously in the curved .303 British magazine somehow containing 36-rounds. It currently has no attachments.
DP-28
The DP-28 appears a the "DP28" and chambered for "54 R" rounds in a 47-round pan magazine. It currently has no attachments and can only be found in Supply Drops and weapon crates.
M1918A2 Browning Automatic Rifle
The M1918A2 Browning Automatic Rifle without a carry handle and bipod removed appears in the game as the "BAR" and chambered in ".300 Magnum" (presumably a stand-in to .30-06 rounds) in 20-round magazines. It can be upgraded with a Colt Monitor Cutts-compensator and an extended 40-round mag and currently only appears in weapon stashes and U.A Supply Drops.
MG42
The MG42 appears in the game under two variants; a vanilla "MG42" and a "Heavy MG42" variant that is fitted with a gun shield for extra protection. It is chambered in "7.62mm" rounds (presumably a stand-in to 7.92x57mm Mauser rounds, although the later MG3 is actually chambered for 7.62x51mm NATO) on a 50-round drum and cannot be aimed-down sights due to its bulk and weight. Notably it has a rather sluggish rate-of-fire of around 500 rpm, in contrast to its real-life ability to go at insane cyclic rates of over 1200 rpm-1800 rpm. Both variants of the MG42 can be found used by Central Empire Commandos and Supply Drops.
Launchers
M79 Grenade Launcher (sawed-off)
A sawed-off variant of the M79 grenade launcher appears in the game as the "Mini Thumper". It occupies the sidearm slot and fires "40mm grenade" rounds.
China Lake Launcher
The China Lake Launcher appears in the game as the "China Lake". It has a 3-round capacity and fires "40mm grenade" rounds. Strangely the weapon loads from box magazines despite already having a magazine tube already attached.
Others
Leuchtpistole 42
The Leuchtpistole 42 appears in the game as the "Flare Pistol" using "Flare Rounds" as ammo. It occupies the sidearm slot and fires a single shot, damaging enemies on contact as well as brightly lighting up the area.
LPO-50 flamethrower
The LPO-50 flamethrower appears in the game as the "LPO Flamethrower" modified with a self-contained custom fuel system having "Fuel Canister" for ammo. It cannot be aimed-down as it lacks any sort of sight and only found in weapon crates and Supply Drops.
TM-46 anti-tank mine
The TM-46 anti-tank mine with a different fuse system appears in the game as the "AP Mine", which implies that it was modified for anti-personnel use in the game's setting.
