A Royal Night Out is a 2015 British romantic comedy-drama film directed by Julian Jarrold. The screenplay was written by Trevor de Silva and Kevin Hood. In the film, Sarah Gadon plays the young Princess Elizabeth, who leaves Buckingham Palace with her sister Princess Margaret to take part in the celebrations for VE Day. May 8, 1945: London celebrates the victory until morning. The two princesses Elizabeth and Margaret also want to join the fray. Their parents order two chaperones and reluctantly agree. Margaret and Elizabeth are quickly separated on the street. But for both, this night will be an unforgettable experience.
