LASD Detective "Big Nick" O'Brien (Gerard Butler) carries an FN FNX Tactical 45 with a C-MORE STS red-dot sight. This is a tactical weapon which he switched to for the final shootout.
Det. "Big Nick" O'Brien (Gerard Butler) uses a Smith & Wesson M&P throughout the film. This is his standard duty weapon which can be seen several times during the film. The M&P in the movie has an optic cut and a Trijicon RMR mounted. It was previously identified as an M2.0 model; however, that is incorrect as the grip texture and the beavertail match the 1.0 models.

M1911A1-Pattern Pistol
