Beretta 418
Lieutenant General Wilhelm Tanz (Peter O'Toole) uses what appears to be a Beretta 418 in one scene in Paris.
Walther PPK
When in uniform, Tanz's (Peter O'Toole) sidearm is a Walther PPK. He uses it to kill Colonel Grau (Omar Sharif).
Walther PP
When the German police come for him, Tanz (Peter O'Toole) requests the sidearm of a subordinate. He uses it to commit suicide. The gun, seen briefly, appears to be a Walther PP.
Submachine Guns
MP40
German soldiers in Warsaw and Paris are seen with the MP40.
Rifles
Karabiner 98k
A few German soldiers are seen with the Karabiner 98k.
Other Weapons
7.5 cm Pak 40
A Pak 40 AT gun is seen on Warsaw street.
Trivia
German Tiger tanks are visually modified T-34s. The scene was filmed in Warsaw, Poland, and the props are the same, seen in Four Tankers and A Dog.
German Panther tank is visually modified M24 Chaffee. The scene was filmed in France. The prop appears to be the same, seen in Is Paris Burning? (1966).
