The following weapons appear in the video game The Punisher (VG):
Sidearms
Colt Python
The Colt Python handgun is referred to as the "Revolver". It fires .357 magnum from a six shot cylinder. Frank says it's old school but reliable and accurate. It can be fired akimbo and mainly Gnuccis use revolvers. It can be upgraded with a scope which (like all scopes in-game) are equipped with night-vision.
Colt XSE 1911
The Colt XSE 1911 handgun is referred to as the ".45 cal semiautomatic pistol". It is stainless steel and uses an 8 shot magazine and like the Colt 1911 it is based on, is chambered for .45 ACP. It can be fired akimbo(dual-wielded) by Frank Castle. Many enemies use this gun throughout the game. It can be upgrade with a sound suppressor. The gun features front cocking serrations on certain consoles, helping I.D. it as an XSE.
Desert Eagle Mark XIX
The Desert Eagle Mark XIX handgun is referred to the ".50 cal semi-automatic pistol". It has a chrome finish and uses a 6 shot .50 AE magazine (when it should be 7). It can be fired akimbo by Frank. More elite enemies such as the Russians and armored Yakuza use these guns. Frank claims the barrel can be swapped out to different calibers but he prefers the .50 caliber Action Express. It is not upgradable in the game.
Smith & Wesson Model 500
The Smith & Wesson Model 500 is referred to as the "Hand Cannon". It holds 6 .500 magnum shots (when it should be 5) in the cylinder. Its slow to fire due to heavy recoil but possesses three times the muzzle energy of a .44 magnum which is why Frank likes it. It can be fired Akimbo. Gnuccis have this gun sometimes. It accepts no upgrades.
Shotguns
Daewoo USAS 12
The Daewoo USAS-12 is refered to as the "Automatic Shotgun". It holds ten 12 gauge shells in a box magazine (when it should be 8) or uprgraded to a 20 round drum magazine. Frank likes its light recoil and extreme power. The gun improperly fires too slow as an automatic. It can be fired akimbo but one must be dropped to reload. It is found in the Takagi building by a dead police officer and Frank kills a man with it in the cutscene "Welcome back, Frank I & II". Yakuza elites use them in the last level.
Remington Model 870
The Remington Model 870 is refered to as the "Pump Shotgun". It has a stainless steel finish and holds eight 12 gauge shells in the magazine tube under the barrel. It also has a pistol grip and a 14in barrel making it a "sawed-off" gun. Despite being a pump-action gun, Frank can dual wield them by thowing them up, catching the pumps, using force the work the actions and catching the grips again. At close range they are extremely lethal, which is why Frank likes them. All classes of enemies use these 870s at one point or another. It accepts no upgrades.
Submachine Guns
FN P90
The FN P90 is refered to as the "5.7mm Submachine Gun". It uses a top-loading 5.7x28mm magazine. Frank claims it looks like a toy but can punch a hole through several layers of kevlar (despite that it can't ingame). It can be fired akimbo but one must be dropped to reload. It can be upgraded with a NV scope and a sound-supressor. Yakuza favor it most but Fisk's guards use them too.
Heckler and Koch MP5/40
The Heckler and Koch MP5/40 is refered to as the ".40 cal Submachine gun(SMG)". It uses a .40 caliber 30 round magazine or can be upgraded to a 60 round dual-drum. Frank likes its accuracy, reliability, and sleekness about it as well as its powerful cartridge. It can be fired akimbo but one must be dropped to reload. Yakuza favor them most but Gnuccis use them too.
Ingram MAC-10
The Ingram MAC-10 sub-machine gun is referred to as the ".45 cal machine pistol". It uses a 25 round .45 ACP magazine(when it should be 30) and can be fired akimbo. Franks likes its high rate of fire and compactness. It can be upgraded to fit a sound-suppressor.
Assault Rifles
AK-103
The AK-103 is referred to as the "7.62mm Assault Rifle". It uses a 30-round 7.62x39mm magazines. Has some sort of red dot sight attached. Frank likes its well known reliability, versatility, and simplicity. It can be upgraded with a 75-round drum and can be fired Akimbo but one must be dropped to reload. Frank has experience with the AK since his enemies used it in Vietnam.
Heckler & Koch XM29 OICW
The Heckler & Koch XM29 OICW rifle is referred to as "Battle Rifle with Scope". Frank says it has a lot of bells and whistles but it has a barrel, ammo, and a trigger and that's all he needs. The top mounted grenade launcher incorrectly fires hand grenades instead of 20mm explosive rounds. It is fitted with a NV scope which is incorrect as it should use a computer type scope used to control airburst on the 20mm grenades. Yakuza elites use these rifles. It can be fired akimbo but one must be dropped to reload.
M16A3
The M16A3 with M203 grenade launcher is referred to as the "5.56mm Assault Rifle". It uses a 30 round 5.56x45mm magazine. It is determined as an M16A3 as it has M16A2/A3 style sights and it fires fully-automatic instead or burst-fire. Frank considers it the best assault rifle in the world and appreciates the fact the 5.56x45mm round breaks the speed of sound (3100fps) and tumbles in the human body. He can fire them Akimbo but must drop one to reload. It can be fitted with an M203 grenade launcher which incorrectly fires hand grenades instead of impact explosive 40mm grenades and can be fitted with a NV scope. Frank used the earlier model, the M16 in Vietnam. For some reason, it has a flat-slab receiver, but since it is a video game model it isn't accurate to a real M16A3.
Olympic Arms OA-93
The Olympic Arms OA-93 is referred to as the "Machine Pistol 5.56mm". It uses a 30 round 5.56x45mm magazine but can be upgraded to use a Beta-C 100 round magazine. Frank likes how it is like a compact assault rifle. Every enemy class uses it at some point. It can be fired akimbo but muzzle rise will greatly effect accuracy, especially with the Beta-C mag.
Sniper Rifles
Barrett M95
The Barrett M95 is referred to as the "Sniper Rifle". It fires from a 5 shot 12.7x99mm(.50 caliber BMG) magazine and operates as a bolt action. Frank says it can perform long distance "brain surgery" and can destroy limbs in a single shot. It uses a high magnification NV scope. It accepts no upgrades. It cannot be fired akimbo due to bolt action function.
Machine Guns
GE M134 Minigun
The GE M134 Minigun. This gun is used a turret gun by the enemy and cannot be used by Frank. He can however use the rotating barrel to interrogate people by pressing their faces to it. It's capacity and caliber is unknown but is assumed to be a 7.62x51mm model. It has a metal bullet shield mounted on the front. The only way to get past the 6000rpm rain of bullets is to flank the gunner from the side. It looks rather irregular for a mini-gun and may be a made up version model for the game.
M60E3
The M60E3 is referred to as the "Machine Gun". It fires a 100 round 7.62x51mm belt. Frank claims he called it "The Hog" in Vietnam (when it was more widely known as "The pig") and custom makes his barrels so they don't melt down as fast. The gun is used sometimes by armored Russians and can be fired akimbo (despite its weight) but must discard one when empty to reload. It it falsely said to weigh 30lbs when it actually weighs 23lbs. It accepts no upgrades.
Launchers
M72 LAW
The M72 LAW is refered as the "Anti-Tank Weapon". It fires a single 66mm Anti-tank round. It is devastating to helicopters, tanks, and infantry. The game incorrectly shows it as a reloadable launcher but it is a single shot disposable launcher. One shot is all you get. It cannot be fired akimbo and is not upgradeable.
Milkor MGL
The Milkor MGL 40mm is refered to as the "Grenade Launcher". It hold six 40mm impact explosive grenades in a 6 shot rotating cylinder. Only Frank can use this gun. The gun incorrectly fires at close range yet a 40mm round will not detonate until far on its way from the firer(a safety mechanism). It cannot be upgraded or fired akimbo.
Flamethrower
M2-2 Flamethrower
The M2-2 Flamethrower is refered to as the "Flamethrower". Frank says if it's made of meat, this thing can cook it. It has about an 8 second burn time (but ingame has a 200 number amount that lowers which is incorrect). It is extremely heavy and the tank can be used to smash heads. Frank says it is a relic from Vietnam. It cannot be used akimbo nor upgraded. Nor can it be reloaded. When it is out, it is out.
Grenades & Explosives
Flashbang Grenade
White colored flashbang grenades of unknown make and model can be used by Frank and a few times by enemies. They can be thrown or incorrectly fired from a grenade launcher attachment.
M67 Baseball
Frank uses M67 Baseball hand grenades throughout the game. They can be thrown or incorrectly fired from a grenade launcher attachment.
