They Call Me Jeeg is a 2015 Italian superhero film. The film stars Claudio Santamaria as Enzo Ceccotti, a small-time thief who finds himself with superhuman strength and healing after falling into radioactive waste in the Tiber river. After catching the attention of Fabio "The Gypsy" Cannizzaro (Luca Marinelli), a dangerous criminal, he decides to abandon his life of crime and use his powers to stop him. The film contains thematic ties to the Steel Jeeg anime series.
