Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area is the 2022 Korean adaptation of the 2017-2021 Spanish crime drama Money Heist. The series takes place in 2025 and follows a group of criminals led by an individual only known as "the Professor" as they attempt to take control of and print money in the Unified Korea Mint of the Joint Economic Area, an economic zone on the border of South and North Korea which are in the middle of a reunification process after over 80 years.
