Mayor of Kingstown is an American crime thriller web television series created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon. Set in the same universe as Sheridan's other television project Yellowstone, the series is set in the fictional economically depressed city of Kingstown, Michigan, where the primary business is seven for-profit prisons. Jeremy Renner stars as Mike McLusky, a liaison between the prisons, law enforcement, prisoners, and criminal factions of Kingstown. Placed in a unique position as a major powerbroker and unofficial "mayor" of the violent, corrupt city, Mike is forced to take drastic measures to maintain some semblance of peace. The series premiered on November 14, 2021 on the streaming service Paramount+.
