The Mist is the 2007 feature film adaptation of the Stephen King novella of the same name. The film follows a group of individuals who struggle to escape from an unusual mist that appears to be involved with several deaths occurring in their town. The Mist was directed by Frank Darabont, who helmed his third feature film adapted from King's works (following The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile). The novella would subsequently be adapted as a television limited series that premiered on SPIKE in June of 2017.
The following weapons were used in the film The Mist:

Handguns
Colt SF-VI/DS-II
As the townspeople hole up in the grocery store, they discover something bad is out in the mist. In search of weaponry, Amanda Dumfries (Laurie Holden) pulls out a revolver she keeps in her purse. This sidearm is a Colt SF-VI/DS-II with rubber Hogue grips, the stainless reproduction of the Colt Detective Special. Unfortunately for the group, she carries only two speed loaders for it. In search of someone with enough experience to use the gun, Ollie Weeks (Toby Jones) steps up, claiming he was a competition shooter in 1994. Highlight for Spoiler: The gun is used several times before Ollie is killed by a creature in the mist as he follows the group of surviving protagonists out to the car in an attempt to escape. The gun is grabbed by David Drayton (Thomas Jane), now only loaded with four bullets. The group of five drives their car out as far as possible before running out of gas. To spare the group the deaths awaiting them out in the mist, David offers to kill them with the gun and figure something out for himself. He then kills everyone in the car and steps outside so the creatures of the mist can take him, only for the US Army to arrive and rescue him.
Rifles
M4A1 Carbine
At the end of the film, US Army soldiers sweeping the mist away are armed with M4A1 Carbines fitted with C-More red-dot sights, ACOG scopes, Surefire universal weaponlights, AN/PEQ-2 IR designators, and RIS foregrips.
Machine Guns
FN M240D
FN M240D machine guns are mounted on top of the US Army tanks and self-propelled artillery vehicles, since the spade-gripped model is more commonly mounted on tanks and the soldiers appear to be holding spades.
Browning M2HB
A Browning M2HB is mounted on top of a US Army Humvee.
Others
Cobray CM203
One of the soldiers' M4A1 is fitted with a Cobray CM203, standing in for the M203 grenade launcher.
Unknown Flamethrower
US Army soldiers are seen using flamethrowers to burn creature nests. They appear to be a fictional model.
