Battle of Empires: 1914-1918 is a 2015 Real-Time Strategy video game set during the First World War. It was first created as a modification for Men of War, which was released in 2009, but it was continued as a standalone game in 2015. However, it keeps the core elements of the GEM 2 game engine with the ability to control your men at division, squad, and soldier levels. Playable nations are the German Empire, Great Britain, France, the USA, the Ottoman Empire, Austria-Hungary and Russia. The main game contains the entry level and the multiplayer, the campaigns must be purchased as DLC.

While a similar extended box magazine was actually tested in Switzerland, it had a straight shape; and the rest of the specimens were fitted with 12-round detachable magazines.
