Handguns
Beretta 92SB-C
Giovanni (Mattia Sbragia) carries a Beretta 92SB-C. David Raybourne (Andrew McCarthy) captures his gun and Alison King (Sharon Stone) uses it. This weapon is anachronistic for 1978, the year in which the film is set.
Beretta 92FS
Several members of the Red Brigades are seen with a Beretta 92FS. One of Aldo Moro's bodyguards also pulls this pistol. This weapon is anachronistic for 1978, the year in which the film is set (the earliest examples of the Beretta 92SB-F developed for the U.S. Army's XM9 pistol trials were first produced in 1984).
Bruni Magnum
One of the terrorists during the assault on the garden banquet holds a Bruni Magnum.
Submachine Guns
Beretta M12
Beretta M12 SMGs are carried by Italian airport guards and are also used by members of Brigate Rosse. David Raybourne (Andrew McCarthy) seizes this weapon in one scene.
Uzi
A full-sized Uzi is used by one robber during a bank robbery. It is also seen used by several RB members during the assault on the garden banquet.
Assault Rifles
AKS-47
During the kidnapping of Aldo Moro, one of the terrorists (Luigi Di Fiore) is armed with an AKS-47 assault rifle.
IMI Romat
The Italian police are equipped with IMI Romat battle rifles fitted with tear gas grenade launchers.
